"Overall, we had a great experience and are very happy with our new deck. The quality of the work is excellent, and it was completed much faster than we expected. You can tell he takes pride in his craftsmanship, and the finished product turned out exactly how we had hoped. The only area that could have been better was communication during the project. There were times when we weren't sure what the next steps or timeline were, but it wasn't a major issue and the work continued to move along quickly. In the end, the quality and speed of the build outweighed that small drawback. If you're looking for someone who does quality work and gets the job done efficiently, we would definitely recommend him. We're very pleased with our deck and would hire him again."

"I contacted Hentges Carpentry for an exterior door install during the first week of March for an exterior door install after finding them through Home Advisor. Raine, the owner, came and gave me an estimate and luckily was able to get to our project later that week even with the snow and cold. I purchased the door and new lock hardware the day of the estimate although he could have ordered it for me also. He and his coworker Chris arrived on time and got right to work. They did an excellent job and even replaced some rotten wood beneath the door once it was removed. They worked quickly although I never once felt the that they rushed through the job. They were both very friendly and kept me informed throughout the project with what they found and the methods they would use to fix it. The cost was right on par with the other estimates I recieved. I would absolutely recommend them for anyone needing work! Thank you for your hard work fellas!"

"We hired them to custom build a fence in our backyard, to match our neighbor's fence in design and style. When digging the post holes, they managed to break a piece of our house siding off. Furthermore, many post holes were dug on our neighbor's property (despite surveyor's stakes) and had to be removed and reinstalled. Things didn't get better as the project progressed. First, despite assuring us they would be able to match our neighbor's fence, the fence they built was a foot shorter and the custom design was very poorly executed. After negotiations, we ended up with a nice fence as long as you don't know it is supposed to match the neighbors. The office staff were always very pleasant and professional. They paid for and coordinated repairing our siding. Overall though, we would not use this company again.

"Difficult job - in hind-sight, both doors should have been replaced. Original bid was for replacement of one of the doors and repair of the other.  The repairman decided to attempt repair of both doors.

"This is the second job where we've hired Garden Structures and we could not be happier with the work Hal and crew did. The new fences are a simple design but perfectly attractive. Moreover, they are solidly built (that is a high priority for me).

As with our last experience, we found Hal's attention to detail is remarkable. And he is a real problem solver. He first worked to understand our goals and then worked with us to devise a solution. Now, with the structures in place, I feel a sense of relief in our yard. The other part of the job was creating an entry gate for the arbor he previously built. Again, he took our feedback and the result is a unique gate that is now the pleasing focal point of the structure.

"Sears Home Improvement Products have washers and fittings to repair washing machines and such. The staff seem real knowledgeable and they were friendly with my son when my son was asking the sort of questions he asks everyone! The pricing is reasonable."

"It went very well. Justin not only knows what to check, he also makes suggestions on repair priorities. He gave good estimates for problems found during the inspection. I like his think out loud approach. Great guy. I've learned so much when tagging alone with him during inspection! Moreover, he is very responsive and patient to my questions after the inspection. "Damian and his crew did an amazing job on my basement. I had at least two other contractors flake out on me and I was thinking no one would want to tackle my basement. I had multiple floods in my basement and needed a lot of sheetrock repair. I also needed a stud wall, sheetrock and electrical run for a wall I had to tear down (sump pump and drain tile installed by someone else). They handled the job no problem. Communication was excellent, they showed up on time and I never felt like they were "in the way." The workers were always polite and they left a clean work space. If I ever need more work done I would not hesitate to call them again. I feel like I have my basement back."
