Once we agreed to move forward, he worked diligently with the architect and village to get the permits finalized (which is a difficult task in my town). Once the work started, he provided almost daily updates of the work that will be completed and any anticipated inspections (which we passed easily). He also reached out himself to finalize details from big items like windows to small ones like the molding. The result was a beautiful sunroom and deck which I receive compliments on regularly. They helped with key design decisions and were responsive with some special requests as well (radiant heat, patio work outside of sunroom). Supply chain issues delayed the overall timeline, but project manager was responsive to questions/updates."

"They were supposed to give me an estimate for an addition to replace one family room ad one sunroom that I have. They did the windows, but they never gave me an estimate to determine if I wanted it done. They did deliver the wrong window, but they were very good about ordering another window. They did work for me last year. I don't think the price was too much. They came late. I've used them twice now. I used them even though their responsiveness was not that great."

"This was a great experience.  The company came out to our home and did a rendition on the computer to show us almost exactly what the room would look like on the home, and that was awesome to see.  Then they followed their production schedule.  The permit took a few weeks to get, but once they got the permit, the process was quick and easy.  The only glitch was that when the room was built, they did not have all matching locks for our doors, but they got that taken care of within a couple of days of the room being done, and now all the locks match.  The room is absolutely beautiful!  This is our favorite room in the house!"

" Installed 16 windows in June 2013.  Almost 4 years later (Jan., 2017) one of the windows cracked.  Called Albar and sent a text photo of the cracked window.  They said it was a pressure crack and ordered a replacement from the factory.  They called me when it was ready.  I picked it up. They showed me how to remove the damaged window and put in the new one.  It was very simple even for a woman in the 60s with no construction experience (although you can have it done for you for a service fee).  I popped out the old one and popped in the new one.  No Charge.  This company is there for you even long after the sale is completed."

"I highly recommend SPU. We used them for roofing. The owner is great to work with, he always answered my phone call when I called and showed up when he said he would show up. He came out to do a quote on Wednesday, materials were delivered that Friday and the roof was done by that Sunday afternoon. The crew was very respectable, they did a great job cleaning up after the job, there was not a piece of garbage or a nail to be found anywhere."
