"The service did not work out very well at all. The individual came out and worked on the water softener for an extremely long period of time, which I didn't have a complaint about, but after he was done, the water softener was leaking internally. You could hear the water running. I called him back and I asked him what his recommendation was, and he asked me whether my water was soft, I said yes, so he said he was done. I wasn't asking him to come and fix it for free, I was asking if it was repairable, because he said he got into it and found out one of the ports was blocked, and he peeled off the calcium and showed it to me, but now it is working. I had one that was not working right, and now I have one that is not working at all. I called to find out if he could fix it, and he said that if the water was soft, he was done. I was not happy with that. I am now trying to find someone who can come and look at it and see if it is fixable or if I have to replace it. It wasn't too long after I purchased the big deal that they came out. They didn't charge us anything extra. I thought the price was about right. He worked extremely hard, other than the possible damage that he did. He responded very well, but he didn't want to follow up on it. I will not use him again in the future."

"Work went great. Our initial call was due to a leaking water heater and leaking shower valve. I called Legend Plumbing and Jesse came that morning. He observed that we had galvanized piping, and getting the house re-piped was on our list of things to do. Legend Plumbing gave us a 'package' bid in which we were given a significant discount on the water heater replacement, plus repairing the shower and re-piping the house and water line leading from the water meter to our house. We had to have the water shut off twice, and they worked with us to accommodate our schedule. "3 Plumbers & Dad LLC were excellent to work with. I needed to get a Pressure Reducing Valve installed because the PSI on the water pressure from the main line to the house was too high. I found them through Angie's list, and called to set up an appointment for the quote. They have a really user friendly reminder system so after calling I got an automated email with the date/time and they arrived on time for the appointment. After that initial visit Teresa sent me 4 quotes! The first had just the work I initially called about, installing the PRV. The other 3 had additional options based on their best practice recommendations - such as installing a Thermal Expansion Tank to prevent PRV discharge and replacing the flexible piping on my water heater with solder weld copper. Each quote had a different price point and thorough explanation of each component so I could make a well informed decision and pick the option that best suited my needs and budget. I chose to upgrade the project from just the PRV to the PRV along with the Thermal Expansion Tank and Copper piping. The install went very well, again sent me an appointment reminder and were on time for the install appointment. They were very professional and showed me the work and the new location for shutting off the main line in the event of an emergency after the PRV install. I highly recommend working with them, I will absolutely use them again for any future plumbing needs!"

"Parker and Sons sent out two guys to quote installation of a tankless hot water heater.  They were very responsive and flexible in scheduling time to come out.  They were also very punctual and professional.  They weren't as thorough as some of the other companies that came out, but perhaps that's just knowing what they have to do.  Where I was let down was the price. The quoted prices was 2X the cost of the other two companies I had out to quote the same job.
