"I am very pleased and even amazed at the transformation of my back yard. First, I must compliment Jesse, the landscape architect who designed my project. I had very specific "wants and needs" which he incorporated perfectly. The renderings and plans were excellent. The job supervisor, Leo, was very impressive. Even though he was overseeing quite a few other jobs, he never forgot any details or tweeks I wanted in my project. He was always very responsive. It took approximately 3 months to complete my project. I'm sure it would have taken other companies much longer as I saw happening when my neighbors had landscape work done at their homes. Many days there were 5-7 men on my job; they showed up promptly at 7 AM and worked very hard all day. They would also clean up the site at the end of each day. They were very experienced, as evidenced by the great work they did. I am a very particular person, so I closely watched the work being done. Santiago was often on-site and always checked the plans to be sure the job was being built as specified, He also expertly did much of the work himself. My backyard went from having very little useable or functional space to a place where I can easily entertain 50 or more people. When the job was done they did the final TLC, as Leo calls it, and they even washed my lower story windows and patio doors that were bordering the construction site. Final compliments to Jessica the office admin person and Richard the owner of the company. Unfortunately the photos were taken on a cloudy day and don't do the project justice."

"Overall i was pretty satisfied with these guys. The project manager Asaf , helped me pick out the necessary  items i needed and helped me with some design ideas.  The project was supposed to take 5 weeks and ended up taking 8 weeks. This was due to  a variety of things.  The day  before they were to start construction , they called me to push it back a week.  It didn't matter much to me but delayed the project.  There was also some miscalculation on some measurements they took but eventually everything worked out.  There were minor snags in the paperwork and processing ( i financed through their recommended company), but everything worked out in the end . I am happy with the product overall although they left a large plastic drain pipe measuring 10 feet on m patio.  no biggy but its still here !!!  Asi and Asef and their team were pros all the way

"We had a stoppage in our patio drainage system near where several pipes meet. It wasn't clear exactly what the best avenue of attack would be. I suggested one opening which I thought was the straightest shot to the problem, but there was another the tech wanted to try first. That one seemed to lead to a T that couldn't be passed. The tech then used my original suggestion and that turned out to do the trick after some struggle with the blockage. There is usually an additional charge for going down more than one drain hole, but since success came with my original suggestion there was no additional charge which I thought was fair. In any event problem solved quickly and for the agreed upon price.
BTW, concerning the price, there is a rate sheet on their web page that lays it all out which I appreciate. There are 3 tiers: regular, overtime and double time which correspond to regular hours, off hours/weekends, and late hours/sunday/holidays. I had the work done on a Saturday morning so the indicated rate was overtime. However, there was a moment of confusion at the point of final payment when the office claimed it should be double time since it was Thanksgiving weekend. The rate sheet, original over the phone conversation and the quote from the tech on arrival all were for the overtime not the double time rate. To their credit, this was honored without too much fuss. The take away here is make sure you know which rate you are expected to pay especially when you are booking on or near a holiday. For example, is the Saturday of Easter weekend double time? It might be.

"They came out for a $99 roof inspection but it hardly covered anything, they just came out looked at it and gave their evaluation and recommended repairs and gave us an estimate for those. It was okay but I just thought we would get more for what we paid for. Wasn't really a deal. The $99 was really just a we'll come out and look at it, didn't cover any repairs or anything. I just thought it would cover more."

"I would highly recommend Joe for any type of home remodeling project mainly to anything that Is similar to ours! Joes work is very professional and his knowledgeable about home remodeling is high as well (as to building codes & restrictions). As far as the design - Joe was very talented in that part too. He managed his people on a daily basis in a s professionally manner while making sure that each day they will complete the required tasks in no less than perfect. I really appreciated his input and comments, he is talented in his own right. Joe made sure to answer any questions we had with solutions to 100% satisfaction. "We have an older home, and needed to redo one of our bathrooms that had old, galvanized pipe. We had slightly more than two weeks to do the job and Joseph promised it could be done if we ordered all the fixtures in advance, which we did. With Johnny cracking the whip, we came in just under the wire, including a two-day delay caused by the city of LA, which cancelled one of our inspections at the last minute. We're very pleased with the result. The old bathroom had lovely tile from the '30s, which unfortunately had to go as the demo took everything down to the studs. At Joseph's suggestion, we replaced the tile with travertine, which is georgeous. Wainscoting all around gave the right period look to match the rest of the house. Once again, BG did not disappoint. They are extremely professional and conscientious, and all the work first rate. (Thanks again Ricardo and George.) You will possibly find someone to do your remodeling job a bit cheaper, but you will never have to worry about shoddy work with this company. We asked for several extras along the way which were cheerfully provided at minimal cost (eg, the makeshift bookshelves in an adjacent closet came loose during the demo--Johnny replaced them with much higher quality work). Once again, thanks a million, Joseph."

"First of all...Mr. Gabriel and Mr. Tito showed up on time. To me that’s very important. I don’t have all day to wait around for someone to come and do some work at the house. Both of the men were very knowledgeable, friendly, and got the job done quickly and answered any questions that I had. I also loved the fact that they had all the neat tools to find out exactly what my problem was. They were like the James Bond brothers with all those gadgets. They told me what my issue was and gave me reasonable solutions to fix the problem. What I liked most of all is...they didn’t try to sell me on their service. They were straight forward and honest...at the end of the day I was very satisfied with their service. I’ll be hiring them in the future for a big job...as soon as I can save up the money. I would recommend them for any job...big or small."

"He was great and his prices were very reasonable.  He is very experienced, and he was excellent about explaining everything that needed to be done. He showed up in the rain to put plastic on our roof so our beams wouldn't be damaged.  He did a very careful and thorough job on the repairs.  It has rained heavily twice since he came, and we have not had any more problems.  We would definitely use him again, and we will call him when we need to replace our roof.
