My name is Gabriel Taylor. I attended Colombia College with a Bachelor of Arts. Upon graduation, i entered the advertising world fabricating models and props for t.v. and print ads. My knowledge of tools expanded greatly. Having always been handy, this fine tuning of shop skills led me to realize that there's much more job availability in home repair/ remodeling/ etc. Now, with 25 years of experience under my thumb, there is little that i haven't come across in the world of trade work. "In my 64 years on this planet, I have overlooked the building of two homes from the ground up, three complete renovations of 1920s era apartments in Chicago, and now renovations of 1880s buildings in Chicago. So I am not new to construction or the challenges associated with building and remodeling, especially the unique hurdles to be faced in older buildings. For the two jobs they worked on, involving kitchens and bathrooms, there was a very tight timeline, and WALLY and Izabela worked very hard to make sure the tradesmen showed up on time and worked efficiently without a missed beat. We made our deadlines successfully. What’s more, Wally was mindful of cost, often giving me honest advice on pricing. The overall cost of the renovations were on target and reasonable. Without hesitation, I would recommend WALLY and his team at Chicagoland Remodeling to do a superb job at a reasonable cost. "Our basement remodel was just completed by Adas Interior Remodeling and we couldn’t be more thrilled with it. Adam and his crew were always available to us and they really made the entire process a breeze. He was helpful and always available to answer any questions we had. "Went with Kerry roofing to replace the leaking roof and leaking chimney on my mom's house. The chimney repair went great. They redid the entire top, installed a new liner, and tuck-pointed a good portion of the wall on the house around the chimney which was in also in need of repair. No more leaking chimney! The roof didn't go quite as well as the chimney work. The actual work was done on schedule but there were issues with it after they were done. But Tony was more than happy to get things fixed. Twice I called about somethings I saw that didn't look right and he was able to answer my questions (I'm not a roofing expert, was just comparing to other roofs) and then had a guy out to fix things when he determined that yes it wasn't done right. I realize this was a complicated roof, with many steep gables, but would expect an established roofing company to be able to handle the job, so was a bit disappointed there. But I appreciate that Tony is always a phone call away and able to answer my questions and send someone out if needed. They stand by their work."

"iJohn Novotny of Prairie Homes spent time with us planning a remodel along our wants and needs and also provided new ideas. We ended up doing more than we initially planned.  The wall between the dining room and the kitchen was removed.  The ktichen walls and ceiling were gutted to the joists and rebuilt.  New flooring was laid and custom cabinets, cove molding was installed according to a new floor plan.  Electric service was updated. Ceiling and undercabinet lighting was added. Plumbing was changed to accommodate new appliances(separate purchase) which they also installed.  Decorative backsplash and range hood completed our new kitchen. <br />      Now, when we enter our front door it's as if we have a new home.  We are happy we incorporated John's ideas into our plans.  Our home has a new,open floor plan. The remodel is beautiful.  We feel safer as well due to the various updates that were done.  John was always available to explain what was being done and why and was very receptive to our desires and any changes due to whim or necessity. Any problems that arose were handled promptly and to our satisfaction.  The workmanship and quality is outstanding. John, Josh and the rest of the Prairie crew did a great job!  We are most pleased!  My husband already has another job for them for next year. <br />"
