I got s visit the next day to look the project over. While here he evaluated several trees and told me what he could do to enhance their existence as well as to protect my property. "The owner was very comfortable to talk to about the water leaking problem in the basement. He did a great job explaining how the job to prevent future leaks would be completed. His brother managed the crew when the job started. It went very smoothly. The team had 4 men and finished the job in only 2 days. The system has kept my basement dry through summer down pours and the most recent snow melt. No water leaks. Everyone was very courteous and efficient. I am very happy with the service.

"I honestly cannot say enough good things about Hard Worx Concrete. They installed an outdoor basketball court for us, and they did an absolutely beatiful job. Everyone who has seen it wants to put one up in their own yard now! What really stands out about Hard Worx is their experience and their willingness to go the extra mile. We needed metal work removed before we could install the court and they did that. We needed help installing the actual pole and hoop and they did that for us as well. Roger even identified a missing part right away and made an extra trip to install it after it arrived. The job was essentially done, but he went out of his way to make sure our court was fully functional. Roger was so knowledgeable about every aspect of the job. "I had used Glenn many years ago for some masonry repairs and called him again for this project as I lost his number but I was elated to find his information on Angie's list. He came over very promptly after calling him and gave me written estimate detailing all the work to be performed. My front and back stoops and walk way renovation was a project I had put off for a long time, mostly from the dread of finding a quality mason contractor to do the job since I lost his number from before. Glenn kept me in the loop for the entire project and asked for my input along the way. They cleaned up the area around where the work was performed. Glenn was prompt and always called me every morning to tell me when to expect him, he was knowledgeable, personable and professional and I could go on and on! He and his crew finished the premium flagstone stoops and walkway exactly as designed ahead of the time he told me and strives for customer satisfaction as evidenced with his qualuty work. I can't think of any way this job could have been completed in a more professional manner or with a better company. Should I have need of a masonry contractor in the future, I will definitely call J & G Masonry as I was so very happy with the work performed. "Working with Mike (the owner), Jose (the lead craftsman) and Angel (his skilled assistant) was an absolute pleasure.  Mike is a very knowledgeable and nice person.  He responded well to all of our questions and concerns, and educated us about the intricacies of stone work.  He made sure that we understood precisely what to expect on this project.  Jose is an exceptional artist.  He has a great eye for setting stone and for details that make a difference.  For example, he shaped the end of the walkway as it met the stoop in a way that makes it quite aesthetically pleasing.  Moreover, we had not even thought of this or asked for it.  Both Jose and Angel did exceptional work in selecting and arranging both the flagstone (pavers) and the fieldstone (which went on the risers.  The result in front and on the side is exceptional.  The side was a half moon, and Jose and Angel cut and arranged the stone perfectly.  Moreover, both of these highly skilled men were very pleasant to work with.  They always showed up promptly and cleaned up very carefully every day.  We were thoroughly impressed with their total professionalism, and would use them again in any future projects. Mike clearly takes pride in his company's work.  He stopped by to make sure that we were happy with the finished project.  Not only did we tell him that this was a very positive experience with Maxsell, but told him that we would definitely call him for any future stone work."
