"I purchased the $49 groupon for a set of plans for a kitchen or bath
remodel project. I met with one of the owners initially and he took
measurements and was professional. It's not a large kitchen and we were
not looking for a complete overhaul. I was really hoping for some design
advice. When I hadn't received any plans or even an estimate for the
cabinet refacing, I called Ed (he had been my contact person) and he
apologized and I explained what I was hoping for (design ideas) and he
immediately set up an appointment with their new design person Kim for
the following day. He also said that they still owed me some plans. Kim
came over and she was also very nice and she pretty much agreed with
what I had already been thinking. She invited me to their showroom and I
visited later that day. She showed me color/wood/tile options and said
that she'd be emailing an estimate to me shortly. I received the
estimate either that day or the next, however, it went into very little
detail, listing one total amount for refacing, floor install, tile
labor, etc. I called her and asked her if she could break it down into
totals for those different components and asked her to price out a few
other things separately. This was just about a week ago. To date, I
still don't have the $49 plans (which I guess I don't really need
because we couldn't come up with any real modifications to the current
layout). And I don't have an estimate that is detailed enough to make
any kind of price comparisons.

"We hired Young Remodeling to install a complex and custom pantry near the back door alcove of our kitchen.  We own an old home, so our kitchen is small.  The new pantry was/is designed to help add counter space to the main kitchen area by providing cabinet storage for a microwave oven, as well our toaster oven and coffee maker via a quartz counter top.  We also wanted to add additional storage via 4 custom cabinets.  Special pullouts were designed for storage containers in a lower cabinet, as well as a pullout bar beneath the microwave.  Young Remodeling did fantastic work on all facets of the job.  From recommending vendors, to providing design options, to ensuring quality in the cabinets, counter top, and tile, and of course the install - it was all top notch.  The end result is absolutely stunning. Of note, we would have given Young Remodeling high marks for the work in general, but they get exceptional points for problem solving. We had a severe challenge with one of our door options.  Working with my wife and I they were able to create a unique sliding door solution that actually performed better than the original design.  It looked amazing and didn't add any costs.  All in all, they are just fabulous to work with and their work product is of the highest standards.  We plan to continue to work with Young as we continue to remodel our plaza area home.
