"Joe was very responsive - great communication. He showed up for the estimate at the time promised, understood what I was asking to have done, and offered some good suggestions on how to do it. We scheduled a day to do the work, and when he wasn't able to make it that day, he let me know in good time, and immediately rescheduled. He then arrived on time and got the work done quickly. The main part of the work involved trimming the front door (to clear a carpet) and installing a new insulated threshold. It was something I was reluctant to do myself, but he did a great job and the price was fair."

"This is the second time I have used Hufnagel for electrical issues. Each time has been above and beyond exceptional. Dave is very polite, informative and knows his stuff! For this repair, the box for the ADP connection was hot and showing signs of burning on the outside. I do not use ADP, this was a service for the previous owner. "We had a pipe burst in our kitchen, which resulted in the removal of our kitchen floor, garage insulation, and garage ceiling. (The garage is directly below the kitchen.) Since this was covered by our homeowner's insurance, we initially worked with a restoration company the insurers had recommended. After this other company completed demolition of our kitchen and garage, they were MIA when we repeatedly asked for them to come back and do the repairs. Taking matters into our own hands, we contacted McClelland Home Maintenance. Best... decision... ever. <br /> It was a Monday that I called them to request an estimate. They came to our house on Wednesday to review the areas where we needed repair. Wednesday night I had an estimate in my inbox. We approved the estimate Thursday, and they were at our house ready to go first thing on the following Monday. Repairs took 3 1/2 <em>consecutive </em>days, and every morning, they were at our front door promptly at 7:55am prepared to get to work. The whole crew was extremely professional, courteous, surprisingly quiet, and always consulted me on the few times complications arose. Each day before they left (again, promptly at 3:00pm) they'd review with me what all was completed that day and what was on the agenda tomorrow. <br /> The quality of the work was also stellar. The garage ceiling is now flawless, the new baseboards made a world of difference, and the kitchen floor turned out even better than we expected. (See the attached pictures of our kitchen floor after the demo and prior to the repair, and the new floor that was installed.) <br /> Overall, we're <em>extremely </em>pleased with the work they did, and definitely would recommend them to friends.
