There were no huge stains to work on. The stairway was left with dark edges. I called the company to come back and they cleaned the stairs again. These dark edges are typical for older carpets and can't be removed"

He removed a thread from the same kind of carpet in the closet and went to work fixing it. It wasn't cheap, but it was cheaper than a new carpet.
