He immediately followed up with the part number of the part which had likely failed and a link to Sears PartsDirect to order the part. After our session I removed the wall oven from the kitchen cabinet enclosure, found the suspected part, and confirmed it had indeed failed (as we had discussed during our session. "There was some confusion from both my home warranty company and Appliance Repair Specialists concerning whether the two companies had a working agreement or not. Eventually, things got sorted out and the work was completed. This added several days to the time needed to get the repair completed. There was also some confusion on ARS' part about getting parts ordered once the diagnosis was complete. This added a few days as well. The fieldwork itself was quick, efficient and very professional. Brandon stayed in contact with me with updates as they were available. He arrived when he said he would and completed the actual repair in less time than originally estimated. Overall, it was a pleasant experience and I will call on Appliance Repair Specialists should I have need of their services again. My advice to a prospective new customer: verify that your home warranty company actually has a working arrangement with ARS before initiating a repair service. For ARS: When a prospective new customer says they have a home warranty, verify that the warranty company has you in their system and can assign the job to you directly. Mine (2-10) did not, which added time and extra work for all parties to get sorted out."

"The team cleared a blockage in our side sewer via the clean out access outside and everything was running smoothly after that. Their work comes with a 30 day guarantee, which is nice. We ended up having a smaller back-up again in the same bathroom. I called them and they came first thing in the morning and cleared out via the bathroom out to the side sewer which they previously cleared. Because this was within 30 days of our previous service, there was no charge. I would also like to note that they went in through our shower drain, which meant that they didn't have to rip out the toilet... preventing a huge hassle and mess.
Even though it took 2 visits to fully clear the issue, we only paid $200 and they were quick, efficient, knowledgeable, friendly and customer service oriented. They always got us in right away, and when I called on the weekend I got a response back to schedule even though they weren't 'open'. That weekend call really helped the first time when we had a major backup, because Fritz gave me tips on how to deal with back up and make sure that we didn't make the problem worse before they could arrive.

"AHS is ok. They cover repairs of most everything under the roof of your house. The companies that contract with them are not always the best. You call AHS with the issue, they send a fax to the repair company and give you the contact info. If they don't contact you within 24 hours, you call them. Sometimes they answer, sometimes they don't. When they arrive (usually three days or so later), they service the item. if it has issues within the 90 days, you call AHS again, they are sent out with no charge. If the serviceman decides the unit is unrepairable, AHS will allow you to choose a replacement from their listing (usually not as good as what you have) they will install and remove your old item, or give you wholesale amount to buy and install your own. Prices vary on what you want covered and what you want the copay to be, plus where you live. For me it is 49.99 per month with a 75.00 time of service order. You can have more than one item serviced at the same time under the same fee. If you have a SEAR product the repair guys are great. Not that wild about the other ones they send out. But it is a big savings compared to calling someone on your own. The cost of service is only the 75.00 copay."
