"Ed and his team at Maksim Roofing did a wonderful job for us. We have a flat roof that also serves as a deck above an enclosed room that had been added on to the original house. The roof/deck was deteriorating and unsafe. I contacted more than 20 contractors over a two year period, many of whom didn’t want to take on the job due to all the uncertainties, others who told me that the only option was to completely rebuild the entire addition, some who never responded to my inquiry at all. After leaving a message for Ed, I got a return call the same day, and he came to the house two days later. He proposed a solution that he described in detail and he also described his team’s experience with similar structures. I got a formal quote two days later. "I had a very mixed experience with this contractor. The man who came to do the estimate was very friendly and professional. He sold me on getting more expensive "carbon armor" to reinforce a cracked cinderblock foundation wall as opposed to cheaper steel i-beams because of the nature of our repair, the location of some water pipes, and the proximity to our gas line, Then, when the crew showed up to do the work, the foreman tried to sell me on putting in steel beams for the same price as our original "carbon armor" estimate, stating that the beams were actually more expensive, which is a lie and exactly the opposite of what I was originally told. I can only imagine he tried to do this because he did not want to have to work with the more labor-intensive and toxic materials involved with the "carbon armor." Very disappointing. For the price I paid over estimates from their competitors, I expected not to be swindled as such."

It couldn’t be nail back down , it needed to be replaced and I had another piece of siding that needed to be replaced, but the siding was to old to match but David the owner did a great job in finding the closest match.
