A friend from Framingham recommended Horizon Appliance Solutions but said they only work in the Ashland area and I live in Boston. A gentleman answered my call was very polite. I explained my situation and the difficulties I’m having finding someone to do the work. He reassured me that someone will come see the job by the end of that same day. They came same day, did the work and charged less than 3 other quotes I received. I cannot thank them enough. In difficult times so good to know there still are good people. "Project: Repai or Service Wolf Commercial Range The response once I requested a quote was quick, literally minutes. They accommodated my work schedule and came on a Saturday even though that was outside their posted hours. However they said they would be there between 11:00 and 12:30 and would call 30 minutes prior to arrival, they weren't and didn't. I callled them at 1:00 and they did show by 1:30, diagnosed the issue performed a temporary fix for the agreed price, and went away to source what were believed to be the required parts. The di call as promised with the parts info. Overall they performed well, were courteous when on site, and the pricing was reasonable."

"I have a Home Warranty with AHS and the Home Warranty company called A-1 Appliance to come out and do my repairs.  A-1 Appliance told my husband many parts were needed and would be ordered and they'd be back in touch to schedule the next visit.
 I heard nothing by 4 days later so I called the AHS and they knew nothing.  It turns out  that A-1 does not work on "sealed systems" but they did not convey that or anything else to my Home Warranty Company who also dropped the ball.  They next called New England Appliance Repair who came right away and also told me they needed many parts.  Instead of waiting days and days, N.E. Appliance expedited the shipment of the parts and they're return to my home so that within a couple of days the repairman Bill was back here repairing not only my refrigerator but my wall oven as well which was way off temperature.  I will tell AHS in the future that I only want to use N.E.A.!"

This was about as seamless a kitchen renovation that one could ever hope for.  Dave listened carefully to the goals we wanted to achieve in our kitchen, and was patient with the design adjustments we wanted to incorporate as we considered each version of the design plans.  One cabinet in particular that was added toward the end of the design process was brilliantly conceived on his part--a cabinet to store large items that looked like a lovely piece of dining room furniture, with exterior shelving and drawers. It is a centerpiece in the kitchen.  Dave was careful to preserve important walk ways in our kitchen so as to not create bottlenecks--an important element in this centrally located kitchen.  His advice on style and color of cabinetry was also highly valued in our desire to achieve a cleaner and brighter look, yet one that was still consistent with our 1931 Colonial.

The Brookhaven cabinets are beautiful and well-made.  While they are pricey, Dave was able to steer us to take advantage of a manufacturer's discount.  The selection of hardware that was available without incurring additional cost was completely adequate, and we took advantage of this option.

Installation of the cabinetry was smooth and timely.  We decided to make a last minute change to the placement of our microwave, which necessitated the order of a new drawer.  This took longer than we had hoped, but understood that this was not a Kitchen Center issue, but rather one of the manufacturer, as each items is custom made.  When the drawer arrived, it was without a front--this added more time. 

Once the cabinetry was installed, irregularities were minimal.  Dave and a service that works with him tended to adjusting hinges, covering screw heads, and painting areas that needed to be smoothed. 

Overall, working with the Kitchen Center exceeded our expectations.  Communication and responsiveness were excellent.  They partnered well with our contractor so that there were no glitches or last minute surprises--almost unheard of for a kitchen renovation.  The quality of the design and workmanship has made for a space that we are loving, and our only regret was that we did no redo our kitchen sooner!

"I contacted United Remodeling after I saw what a terrific job they did in my sister's home.  Ours was a much bigger project, with all sorts of necessary tasks inside and out.  Within a few days of my call, Alessandro came by and assessed the job.  There was much to do.  They mended and painted fences, power washed the house and garage, built beautiful new stone front stairs, patched and/or repaired the siding and concrete foundation, repointed the chimney, and painted all of the exterior wood trim, doors, and bulkhead.  I'm most pleased and proud of my beautiful refurbished front door, original to the house, and painted a brilliant red.  Great job guys!  And excellent feng shui! 
There was just as much work to do inside.  They replaced the kitchen door, counter tops and appliances, repairing and/or replacing cabinet doors and worn thresholds throughout.  And best of all, they were able to open up the load bearing wall between my kitchen and dining room, creating a much more open, comfortable and welcoming space.  Every room was painted, then checked, and checked again for any "holidays".  There are none.
The carpenters, painters and plumbers are truly a very talented and professional group.  And you will not meet a more courteous, insightful, and cohesive team!  The same can be said for the managers.  Alessandro, Marcos or Junior called, or came by everyday to check on the job.  They never missed a call, or failed to address any questions or concerns.  They really strive to make sure their customers are happy, and the job is done right.  It was a pleasure to work with them all!"
