"I wanted to follow up my earlier post now that the job has been completed. The work to be done, our house was built in 1968 and there was a gap between the basement wall and the foundation that needed to be filled. We also needed to encapsulate the space. We were in the process of selling our home, and this issue came up in the home inspection. As anyone who has bought or sold a home this summer knows, we found out all the contracting firms are booked solid. We offered to work with the buyer, making repairs after close via escrow, but the buyer rejected and the offer was withdrawn. We decided to go through with the repairs recommended in the inspection report, including the work listed for the crawl space before relisting. We were concerned we would end up in the same situation, unable to make repairs in the inspection report. We had already purchased our new home and were carrying two mortgage payments. Another delay to close would be expensive. As mentioned earlier, Marty from Advantage Restoration was able to inspect and provide us an estimate for the work needed within days of our call. The owner of the Advantage, Mike Bird, called me directly to work out the schedule. Advantage Restoration was booked up, but our job was a smaller one, so they were able to fit our project between other projects. The work was started at the scheduled date and was completed in 2 days, as estimated. All work was done as specified on the estimate, and the final cost matched the estimated cost. The work itself looked great. The work crew explained the work and each step in the process to completion. The final result, we relisted the house and received a new offer. After inspection, there were no remediation items listed by the buyer, including the crawl space, and we are moving straight to closing. Mission accomplished! I had several companies out initially and was not very impressed with them. they were just throwing out large numbers and not really spending time on explaining the details of the work. rick from buckeye came out and spent several hours on his first visit. rick was very patient with my wife and I. he walked us through the process step by step. he was very knowledgeable and very detailed in the work to be performed. he answered all of our questions from the city permit process to the actual work. he told us exactly what to expect and that's exactly what we got. when the crew arrived on Monday the foreman bryon walked us through the work card and explained what they would be doing day by day. bryon was extremely polite and curtious to our needs. we had a few plants that we wanted to keep so he dug those out first and set them aside so as not to damage them. they worked very hard and were very neat in keeping the job clean. I was happy to make them hamburgers and hot dogs for lunch every day. the inspections all passed and I couldn't be more pleased. the half of driveway they had to take out looked so good that we had them remove the rest and replace all of the concrete drive. I would like to thank them for all there hard work. they were wonderful. I would also like to thank rick for coming out three separate times before we decided to do the project. all the other companies wanted us to contract within 20 minutes of being there. it was a big decision for my wife and I but we sure are glad we went with buckeye waterproofing. thanks again for all your help!

"It went amazing. To say that I am uptight about my yard, landscaping, and lawn is not an exaggeration. Brandon and his crew removed and replaced landscape walls, lights, and plants. The entire project took about 6 days and when they were done, the only evidence was the dirt trench that was waiting for the new grass to grow. The whole time they were at my home, they were extremely neat and clean. They were respectful of my neighbors yard too. This was a big project, they had to remove and repour sections of my cement walk way. My husband and I could not be happier with the work. It wasn't money we wanted to spend, but it had to be done. We have recommended him to several neighbors and have invited interested people over to inspect the work. Since the initial install, Brandon has come out to inspect the pump and replace a part. He returned my call 9 months after the project was completed promptly which was much appreciated. Just want to add that digging by hand was much less destructive than using a back hoe. We had many estimates over 2 years. When Hart Masonry gave us our quote after examining the property and listening to our problem, they hadn't pulled out of the driveway when we knew they were the ones for the job.
