"The electrician arrived after my scheduled time, without a courtesy call. I learned he had car issues, and he came in a vehicle "not as fully stocked as his primary vehicle would have been". One of the lighting fixtures I needed was not on his truck. While he was working on an electrical socket, he asked if I wanted to go to the store 'to save time and to prevent me from being charged if he had to go to the store himself, because he couldn't use the current pull cord'. Really? It's my issue because you had car problems and came in a partially stocked alternate vehicle? Anyway, I go to get a pull cord. I asked if it would be easy to find and he said that it would. I typically buy the wrong thing, so I bought two items, just in case. I return home to learn that I actually needed the entire fixture. Seriously? I understand the difference between a fixture and a pull cord... He didn't say "fixture". I was irritated, but he tried to make one of the items I bought work (it didn't). I also purchased a water heater through the electrician to be installed the following weekend. At that point, he says he'll remove the charge for trying to install the pull cord. Really? You were going to charge me for that? Back to the electrical socket, he did this 1st, completing 1 of 3 sockets on the same breaker. I was so thankful he did because the power went out again while he was installing the ceiling light. He went back to the other 2 sockets, asking me if I knew if they were working. Really? You're asking me? He ultimately rewired all 3, which, of course, makes sense. I'm certain he wouldn't have if the power didn't go out though. As he left, he asked if I could give him a good review on Yelp or Google, saying it would really help him, they'll give him like 20 bucks (something like that). I didn't. However, after the great service I received from the water heater contractors, I took the time to give them a positive review. To my shock, when I looked at the Dear Services site, I saw "Dave", the electrician that 1st came to my house. Wow! Dave acted like he was just another Dear Services electrician, but he is the founder. This was amazing and irritating to me. I wasn't going to post anything about my experience with Dave, but HomeAdvisor is persistent with their emails regarding the service that customers receive. So here I am, and this was my experience. Again, the water heater contractors were great and I posted a positive review for them. With Dave, that was definitely not the case."

We did not think to include lighting and it was an excellent suggestion and decision. Hector and his crew showed up as scheduled and finished the job in two days. "Alex, helped us achieve our dream backyard. He and his work workers took our backyard from an uneven slope space and created my family's favorite space. They installed a retaining wall, added topsoil a new lawn and sprinkler system. They added a outdoor lighting system, added a natural gas line for a fire pit and grill. Installed pavers for a new patio and fire pit area. They added a gazebo with electric heaters. We loved what they did so much, that we have used them for other projects as well. We used them for a new fence and extending our driveway. We have recommended them to our friends and neighbors, and they have all thanked us for the recommendation. "When researching to identify a contractor we called and emailed 5 local companies. NW Patio was the only responsive company we encountered. Once an initial meet was scheduled Steve was on time and primed to provide us with a solution to our needs that exceeded our expectations. The single greatest challenge in our project was our schedule, not theirs. Still NW Patio worked with us exercising considerable patience and the resulting finished product is an amazingly relaxing space incorporating LED-lit steps, a large paver-patio, and sitting walls with LED lighting that our family enjoys thoroughly at every opportunity. Upon completion there was a limited punch list that arguably involved perceptive aesthetics more than earnest structural or quality issues with the project, still NW Patio agreed to address the issues readily to our ultimate satisfaction. Since the initial phase, of our now developed landscape vision/plan, is in place we are looking forward to working with NW Patio for the next phase(s) to finish flushing out additional patio space; a walkway between the front and back yards; and a reconstruction/expansion of the driveway and walkway to the front door."

Due to the quality of work we retained them for bi-weekly maintenence of mowing, edging and weeding. They are very responsive and work with your schedule, which we appreciate!"

".can't say enough about how great they are. at my church. We had a zinsco panel in there which can be quite a problem. we decided to replace it and really investigated companies carefully. these folks were so easy to work with, very clear communication, did exactly what they said they would do in a competent way, were on time no add-ons to the bid. wish I could give them a pluses.the City of Seattle offered us a rebate as we were putting in more efficient lights, which meant paperwork for Exact electric to help us complete the forms and coupons as they had to give some information. And the office people were so helpful and quick to deal with it. feel bad that I didn't review them earlier as they are excellent.
