"Luckily for Florida, 2025 was a quiet year from a hurricane perspective and we did not have to use the hurricane shutters through the season. Two weeks ago, when we were heading out of town for Thanksgiving holiday, noticed a misalignment in one of the shutters preventing it from on the rail. I contacted the vendor via email and got immediate response. Repair assessment was scheduled for December 3rd after our arrival. Joel Batista called on us yesterday and identified the problem right away. Joel was back this afternoon with Lewis and solved the problem in a very thorough manner. He was very patient in explaining to me what the issue was and how he fixed it. Very pleasant person to work with. "Housmans Aluminum is fundamentally dishonest. They provided me with a quote for a screen room and assured me that it would be no issue to proceed. I even made a roof alteration that cost over $2,500. After collecting my deposit, they attempted to obtain the necessary permit, but the city rejected the project due to setback regulations. Consequently, we could not proceed, yet Housmans Aluminum declined to refund my deposit. Very dishonest!"

"They are really good at coming to your home and selling you these windows and will hover over you as you sign the sales agreement. Once that is signed, good luck. In addition to the poor window quality, they have destroyed my walls, windowsills, and baseboards. Windowwall sent another team out to "fix" the issues but did not fix them, instead asked me if I know how hard it is to install windows....not my problem? So then inspection day came and the windows failed. It has been a month now and still haven't heard back from windowwall. The windows cannot pass inspection until the scratched window is replaced, and another window that needs to be worked on because the window will not open. The inspector told me that if these windows were installed in his home, he would take them to court for how bad of a job they did. Lastly, if the sales rep tells you that they install noseeum screens DO NOT believe them and will not honor the promise!"
