"Stop and read this recommendation. I sent request on HomeAdvisor for plumber for master bath toilet break, they responded in minutes and came to home in a few hours. "Just moved into a new house. Discovered the curbside water main valve was impossible to turn on my own. I contacted a different plumbing company and requested an estimate for putting in a private water main valve between the city valve and my home. I waited several days and did not receive the estimate, so I called Casa View Plumbing to request an estimate from them. Casa View recommended I contact the City to see if they would replace their own valve (a City water technician had previously told me they would not replace the valve until it was completely unworkable for their crews.)

So, I did. And Dallas water Utilities did, in fact, replace the valve with one I can easily use on my own in case of a plumbing emergency. "Fast prompt service. I had new kitchen counter tops, and sink installed. The shutoff valves under the sink were no good so water had to be turned off at the street. Ernie's Plumbing came out after they were finished with counter top install and plumbed my sink, installed new shutoff valve, installed new faucet and new disposal and hooked up my dishwasher discharge. The plumber was done with everything in a little over an hour."
