"The crew arrived on time and were good to work with and performed the work that was expected per the agreement. The initial treatment was a success as the spot which perpetually leaked stopped leaking and dried up. However, following an exceptionally heavy rain a small amount of moisture appeared at the trouble spot. The crew came back and did additional work above and beyond the original agreement for no additional charges. Problem solved. Great experience."

"Excellent! I called them and they responded within 10min. They inspected my drain outside of the egress window in a day. A day later they cut the concrete, put a sump pump in the basement. They were right on time. We had several contractors come before and they said “we cannot doing anything”, “shop vac the drain”. They are quiet. And they replaced the dry wall and it cosmetically beautiful. I recommend highly."

"Mike provided a quick response to my inquiry call and we arranged a date/time for him to do the work. He followed up via text on the service date and he arrived promptly. Although it was very cold with ice on the ground, he worked efficiently to repair the siding and downspout. It's been about 5 weeks since the repair and have had no issues. I appreciate the professionalism and will definitely call him in the future for other home repair / maintenance needs."

"The man that repaired my washing machine checked out everything before he cleaned out the drain pipe."

"I would definitely recommend Shearer Home Improvement! He is professional and gets the job done in a timely manner. He has painted multiple rooms for us, laid flooring and done other remodeling projects and we have been very pleased with all!"

"

I talked with the and quot;head guyand quot; about my roof indicating I had lost several shingles and he said he would come and check it out. I had purchased an Angies List voucher for a roof inspection and minor repair. We discussed this and I understood it, of course, would not include roofing.

After touring my roof he said all the roof cap shingles would have to be replaced and gave me a price. No, he did not discount the $79 I had paid for the AL voucher(?). Seemed to think that was okay. Said it would take x number of shingle bundles. He left for quite a while...said he crew would be there within 30 minutes..wrong again. He arrives, crew arrives. Heard him and crew talking and crew said it wouldn't take nearly that many bundles. He comes in to leave and collect (before job is completed). I said not paying until job is done, besides heard the conversation so need to change price. We did.

Overall, he was arrogant, indifferent and not pleasant to deal with. However, his crew was wonderful. Worked hard and at the end did some extra for me. I feel sorry for them having to work for such a pompous person.

"Quick and professional removal and installation! Also replaced cold water galvanized pipe running from main to water heater with pex. Will consider using M&S in the future to replace remaining galvanized pipes in the future."

"Very professional work was done. Polite and caring workers"

"AHS is ok. They cover repairs of most everything under the roof of your house. The companies that contract with them are not always the best. You call AHS with the issue, they send a fax to the repair company and give you the contact info. If they don't contact you within 24 hours, you call them. Sometimes they answer, sometimes they don't. When they arrive (usually three days or so later), they service the item. if it has issues within the 90 days, you call AHS again, they are sent out with no charge. If the serviceman decides the unit is unrepairable, AHS will allow you to choose a replacement from their listing (usually not as good as what you have) they will install and remove your old item, or give you wholesale amount to buy and install your own. Prices vary on what you want covered and what you want the copay to be, plus where you live. For me it is 49.99 per month with a 75.00 time of service order. You can have more than one item serviced at the same time under the same fee. If you have a SEAR product the repair guys are great. Not that wild about the other ones they send out. But it is a big savings compared to calling someone on your own. The cost of service is only the 75.00 copay."

"Excellent I highly recommend this company. I had 2 different services done at different times when I called or texted never a problem coming out. Always a pleasure working with Tim I will always use this company."
