We decided to undertake a major (to us) update/renovation of our entire first floor flooring, including removing a dated looking "elevated" living room area. We were excited to review and discuss the project with Doug as he took the time to hear our vision, take pictures and measurements. We felt the estimate was very fair and immediately hired them for the job. The entire process went very smooth and thorough. DBC has a broad selection of talent and we felt that each friendly face that showed up truly contributed to the project. DBC made sure to address every concern and made sure that we were satisfied with every phase. The project turned out great and we love our new look space! "Eli and his crew did a very good job. They completed the the work quickly (3 days) and professionally. Antonio and William were very good at their jobs.They were also friendly and polite. They worked hard and stayed until each phase of the project was completed every day (generally10 hour days). These two workers are well versed in all aspects of remodeling and their craftsmanship was very good. We would rate the quality as B+. I suppose if they had a dedicated tiler, a dedicated carpenter, a dedicated plumber, etc the quality would have been slightly higher - but the cost would be much higher. So the value is excellent.
As with any project like this, there were a couple of minor bumps along way but they took care of them quickly and thoroughly. They even returned to fix a couple of things that popped up after the job was completed. They answered all of our questions and made sure we were satisfied with the results.
We're very happy with the completed project. We definitely would use US Home Remodeling again. Full disclosure - we are not affiliated in any way with this company. This is the first time we have had any dealings with them.

"We have had JAC Electric do multiple jobs in our home.  The work started with an estimate for finishing basement and multiple issues were pointed out with our existing electrical service.  JAC was one of multiple estimates, price was higher then the others, but, Jason was much more knowledgeable and seemed to actually care that we got what we needed.  Jason does the estimates and checks up on the workers.  Bob is in charge on site and does most of the work.  Bob is great (and so is Jason).  We are continuing to have work done.  They were willing to break the work into sections for us to the bill and work was more manageable.

"After working 5 hours and accomplishing serious sub basement clean up they discovered the source of my complaint. They did not charge me for the initial 5 hours. They worked day and night over the weekend to remove the source."

"I Hired Buckeye Waterproofing because they did my son and daughter in laws house and they were very pleased and the basement looked great. I was nervous I'm an older man if I could've done it myself I would've but i'm glad I didn't. My basement was leaking had mold, a wall moving, and cracks. it was in awful shape and completely unusable. Rick came out and gave me an estimate which I felt was fair due to the horrible condition of the basement. I hired them right away and they got the job started right away. Rick came out with a crew of 4 guys the day the job was set to start. He explained everything to me went over the details I was able to tell him specifics I wanted they set up plastic so my stuff wouldn't get dirty and plastic hanging in the doorways so it wouldn't get the other room's  dirty. They also set up tarp to walk on so my floors didn't get dirty. They also set ply-wood on the lawn so the machine didn't ruin my lawn. Over a period of 4 days they waterproofed my basement from the outside and installed 6 structural straps from the inside. The sprayed mold removal on the walls and scrubbed them. They also filled in all the cracks with  mortar. The waterproofing fixed the leaking, the straps prevented the wall from moving more. I haven't had a problem since and i'm finally able to use my basement. I couldn't be more grateful and happy I hired them.

"I had Joe and another guy (not sure of name) come out to give me an estimate for finishing my basement in Jan. Joe said it would take at least three weeks for an estimate, after six weeks I called and left a msg and then an email. Joe responded quickly and said he had called the house an left a msg for me, they will not be doing residential work he will be working for someone else (if I got this right).
Joe was wonderful with recommendations for my basement, he came up with better ideas some I never thought of to save me money.
I was very disappointed that he could not do the work.
I should have called him sooner and found out what my status was.
Overall I still would give him an A.
