However, Ty was very responsive and got us scheduled right away and finished the job in a couple of days. Work looks good. "Sadly one of the sloppiest contractors I've ever hired. We had our existing hardwood floors refinished and carpet replaced with hardwood in 3 rooms. It was a very large project, almost 2000 square feet that they finished in 4 days. Then spent an entire next day fixing mistakes. Mistakes like nails in the middle of the floor that was just refinished, many finishing nails left hanging in trim, stain can rings left in multiple places, improper sanding, and leaving areas looking worse than before they started. Mike told me "stop kneeling on the floor because your'e going to keep finding more things wrong." Watch your invoices too. We had two bundles of wood returned because they didn't need them but instead of a credit, Mike charged me for the wood until I caught his mistake. Save yourself the headache and frustration and go with a different contrractor who isn't rushing to get on to the next job and takes pride in the work."

"Footprints Floors removed my old worn out carpet and padding and the vinyl in the kitchen and bathroom and replaced it with wood laminate flooring I had chosen. They installed the rounded finished edges and did a superb job around the toilet and the water heater, which has a round overflow pan. The crew was knowledgeable, professional and polite and they cleaned up after themselves as they went. Then took all the trash with them! My condo is small - only 1 bedroom and 1 bath, but they did the entire job in one day. Thank you Footprints for a wonderful job! I feel like I have a new house! "Sean was the best contractor I have had for any of my many home remodeling projects! He was very timely at giving me a quote, and he did an excellent job refinishing our hardwood floors. And he did everything to make sure we were very satisfied with the job, going above and beyond what I expected him to do; like, putting felt pads under our heavy furniture so when we move the furniture later, the furniture wouldnâ t scratch the brand new looking wood floors. It was a pleasure having him perform this difficult job!"

"We're very happy with our newly refinished floors and the job performed by B&D hardwood floors. It is easy for a company to achieve good reviews when they do good work, but more important is how they perform when things go wrong. Because we were having the main portion of our home refinished, including two stairways, we planned a short trip out of town to avoid the worry of walking on newly finished floors. When we returned (on a Sunday), we were disappointed to find several floor issues/items had not been addressed or repaired. I was expecting a difficult discussion come Monday morning, but instead was pleasantly surprised! Gary and his team agreed that there were some problems and explained that the supervisor, with whom I had discussed specifics, had been out sick the past few days. Justin and Josue spent the next 3 days fixing ALL of the problems, applied an extra finish coat on the entire floor, and did a superb job, leaving our house both clean and beautiful! I anticipated there would be some additional costs tacked on to the final bill, but instead it was only $15 over the original estimate (which was more than fair given the “adds” and “subtracts” from the initial work estimate). Bottom line, B&D does fantastic work and provides great customer service. I would definitely recommend and use them again."
