He built a prototype and came to the house to discuss and confirm design options before building it in his workshop (no mess at our house was a plus). Typical of an old house, the installation required custom fitting. He took his time and made sure every detail was right. "When you're buying that and you're thinking that you are getting a good deal on a $500 deal and when the guy came and gave me a quote the whole was $7,000. I've only done a small section of my cabinet that cost me $2,000 for four cabinets. When he came and did designs it took like two hours and I wasn't anticipating that and so eight cabinets and two doors were $7,000. When I bought the special deal I thought it was a special deal but really it wasn't a special deal. I was surprised because no one ever called me and followed up and asked whether I was happy. There was one pullout that was designated for glass baking dishes and my glass baking dishes don't fit in the pullout. He never initially mentioned that to me after doing the design that if I'm not able to have a good product done at that price we could break it up into sections. I think that it's a product, they were efficient, they came in and did what they needed to do. Out of everything there was sort of one door that didn't align with what the original plan was and I was expecting somebody to follow up with me."

"Five years after moving into our house we were finally ready to update our house's full bathroom. The bathroom design and fixtures were (from what we believe to be) last updated from the early 90s. A pedestal sink and clawfoot tub (converted to a shower) were a couple of the features that just did not fit our needs. The bathroom's footprint is quite small (just 6ft x 7.75ft) and afforded no built-in storage. So for a remodel we knew what was on our need-to-have list. Our goal was to convert the tub to a real shower and replace the pedestal sink with a cabinet that would give us more storage and maximize the available space. We had received quotes from remodelers that led us to believe that we would have to go down the route of having to do a custom build/remodel. The fixtures and custom finishes of these proposals were very nice but the price (in our mind) for such a small space were out of our budget. We were also told a remodel could take a month to complete. Being without our only full bathroom for that long just didn't seem realistic. So after searching online for other options we came across Simple Bath. Shawn Barral, our design consultant, showed that we could achieve our goal without going down the expensive & lengthy custom build/remodel route. The design, fixtures, & components they proposed allowed for cost and installation-time savings. These advantages ultimately fit our goal. Going through the process from preliminary design, fixture & finish selection, measurement, demolition, and installation all went very smooth. Our installers, Justin & Hunter, were tasked with (in my opinion) unenviable job of demolition which included removal of a very heavy cast-iron tub and very dusty & dirty work associated with plaster & lathe walls. They also persevered through the challenges of working with an old home which included unleveled floors and out of plumb walls in addition to a very tight workspace. At the end of each work day the worksite was clean and tidy, which was something that is often overlooked during a remodel. By the end of the work week, the installation finished right on time with incredible results. It was an incredible transformation that happened so quickly and so smoothly. Our new bathroom is so much more presentable and vastly more usable."

"Keith was amazingly helpful - steered me clear of a few design mistakes and was always willing to try new design set ups when I had questions. They were very quick and priced VERY competitively. I paid about $3,000 less w Cabinet Guys than I would have with Home Depot and I got higher quality materials. Loved working with them! We chose to order Wolf quick ship cabinets, as we were in a rush to actually have a kitchen as soon as possible and the cabinets arrived within a week! Much better than the 6-8 week lead time of most cabinets. Wolf did forget a piece but they mailed it and it arrived within days - they were very responsive to the issues we had with missing cabinet. I would suggest getting quotes from folks other than Bison Builders, who was the company recommended to us by Cabinet Guys. We had a lot of issues with projects associated w our kitchen Reno (not w cabinet install itself) which led to our kitchen reno, which should have been about 2 weeks of labor turning into a month and a half of back and forth to get things finished correctly and damages done by subcontractors fixed. Quite the ordeal that I wouldn't wish on anyone."

"Our 1986 vintage kitchen wall cabinet finally fell apart and needed to be replaced. We contacted nearly every cabinet company in Central Ohio but found that no one could match the style / finish of our old cabinet. We then thought, why not "repair" our cabinet versus buying a new one? I then discovered Troyer Transformations. Samuel Troyer came to our house and inspected our damaged cabinet. Samuel confirmed that they could fix it and provided me a very reasonable price quote. One week later, Samuel's brother, Jerry, arrived to re-install the cabinet. Jerry showed us everything he did to re-build and re-enforce the cabinet before he re-hung it and re-installed the doors. He completed the job in less than an hour!
