Customers say: True professional

"We recently remodeled a 100 year-old Craftsman home. We initially discussed the project with Mose Troyer and were very impressed with his knowledge and advice. The project required replacing and replicating a considerable amount of the woodwork. Mose also modified the existing Shaker kitchen cabinets. Modifications included building new cabinets to match the existing ones. He also adjusted several cabinets while maintaining the original look of the cabinetry. Mose also completely built an entire wall of pantry cabinets in the Shaker style. He installed new baseboards and window trim. He rebuilt and repaired existing window trim in several other rooms. Mose integrated the repairs to the point that after painting no one could discern that the sill had been repaired. His work was flawless. In addition, he walled off a doorway and built a bookcase with enclosed shelves in the lower half. He installed 10 new doors with hardware in line with the original style of the home. He also installed two barn doors with hardware. He is conscientious and easy to work with. Without his creativity and craftsmanship the project would never have been as successful and we’re thrilled with the results. Without reservation, we highly recommend Mose for cabinetry/carpentry work."

"Tim did a fantastic job with our kitchen. He worked with us through the process, coming up with solutions when we encountered unexpected challenges. His craftmanship is remarkable. Tim tore out our kitchen and drywall, installed new drywall and overhead lights, a new ceiling, installed new cabinets, and installed the tile backsplash. Everything looks better than we could have imagined! We will certainly hire him for any future projects. His estimated timeline was perfect and he started right when expected. Fantastic contractor!"

"It went smoothly exactly as Paul described the job. His crew installed a sump pump and ensured in drained to the curb. The crew replaced the drain run to the curb and dug around the existing bushes. The crew also connected the the roof downspout to the run to the curb. The crew installed a perforated pipe in a trench which created a floating basement floor on 3 sides of the basement. (the 4th wall was not necessary since was an interior wall.) They concreted over the pipe with a gap to the wall. they repaired and painted the basement walls."

"Just Basements did a great job finishing our basement. Rob, the owner, was very responsive and the foreman Charlie did a great job and got the work done two weeks early. All contractors that came to do work were very respectful. The finished product exceeded our expectations. We also had them add a half bath (there was no rough in) so we were pleased with the price for all work that needed to be done. We would definitely use this company again and recommend them to everyone."

"<p>I LOVE these guys!  Correy and his crew (Ace, Will, and Max) are my new favorite contractors and have earned a client for life.  Correy responded quickly to my request for quotation and we arranged to meet 3 days after I contacted him.  He provided a detailed quote with a drawing of what he proposed the SAME day that he met with me.  To make sure that I did my due dilligence, I wanted to get a few more quotes, but knew that I would select Fletcher's Brick Paving due to Correy's professionalism and responsiveness.</p> <p>My project was pretty simple- address some differential settlement of my existing brick paver patio to stop water from accumulating along my foundation and infiltrating through my basement walls.  I also wanted to replace my wood steps (3 sets) with stone steps for ease of maintenance and aesthetic appeal.  On day 1, I knew that I had picked the right team for my project when we discovered that the existing patio had been placed directly on grade.  There was no sub-grade material and it was obvious that the previous contractor had cut as many corners as possible to install the patio.  Correy explained next steps and I had complete faith in how he was planning to address the situation.  He went out of his way to find the best solution to address this issue and stay within my budget.  The project lasted 3.5 days and I have a beautiful patio that looks like it is brand new even though I reused my existing brick pavers.  When Correy told me that the bricks would look just like new after they were power washed, I wasn't so sure, but he knows what he is talking about.  I have a much better patio than I could have ever imagined and it is all because of Correy and his crew.</p> <p>And speaking of the crew- just how great is it to know that I could go to work in the morning and know that when I cam home everything would be better than before I left that day?  The crew was extremely professional, arrived on time every morning, treated my driveway and yard like it was their own, and made sure that everything was cleaned up before they left at night. They even helped me put my patio furniture and grill back on the finished patio when they were done with the project even though it was a Friday and they had just wrapped up a long week.  They work well together and you can really tell that they love doing what they do.    <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />I would highly recommend Fletcher's Brick Paving to anyone that would like a talented group of professionals to help them with a patio project.   Thanks guys!</p> <p><br /></p> <br />"

"These guys are awesome! These men work for pride, I am sure money too but put the pride in their work first. Very friendly! Showed up by 7am everyday, even in the rain and immediately started working. We had a couple not so common issues with our home and they went above and beyond creating fixes for those areas and they look great. Could not ask for anything to be better. Don't even waste your time calling anyone else for quotes. Also just an FYI - when it is the busy spring and summer season and a contractor tells you they can have a crew out the following week to start that should really bring up a red flag."

"<p>We needed to have a garage built.</p> <p>How does one begin to have a garage built?</p> <p>Angie?s list! Other internet advertisers?</p> <p>Angie provided several possibilities. Other internet ads added a few. Several contractors came out to survey the job. Many provided estimates. (None, though, from the non-Angie?s list advertisers.) Only one went the extra step of contacting the county to check the requirements. He discovered that we could not build the garage where we wanted! An alternate location for the garage was determined. The contractor, Michael Thompson of Thompson Home Improvement, provided an estimate that was in line with the others, so because he was thorough and checked the location with the county, he got the job. We were completely satisfied, very happy with the job. Michael?s crew was professional and left nothing to chance. We got a top quality project, completed efficiently and pleasantly. To be sure, if and when I need another project done, Thompson Home Improvement will get the call.</p> <p>Thank You, Michael and Crew, for a job well done.</p> <p>Thank you, Angie, for including Thompson Home Improvement in your list.</p> <br />"

FAQs for major home repair (general contractor) projects in Milledgeville, OH

In many cases, it’s much less expensive to convert a bus than to buy an RV, especially if you’re considering a newer RV model, which can exceed $100,000.

Another huge benefit of school bus conversion is that you are in control of the renovation project. You get to pick your camper's new layout and all the appliances and furniture.

While school buses can easily cost $300,000 when they're new, you can often find used buses for just a few thousand dollars. These vehicles experience extreme depreciation due to government regulations; they can only be used for so long before they must be replaced. Due to those same regulations, other government agencies cannot purchase them for their own uses, so the consumer market is the only place they can go.

The length of time it takes to convert a bus depends on the scope of the project (and size of the bus), how much work is DIY vs. done by a professional contractor, and how much work you’re doing up front.

In general, expect at least a couple of months for a conversion, but larger conversions could take six months to a year. Remember: You can tackle projects as you go: Get the basic work done so that it’s livable, and then continue to enhance your living space over time.
