"Not all heroes wear capes! Economy Restoration LLC., saved my home! Long story short is I had a new roof, siding and gutters done in November 2018 by contractors that did unworkmanlike installations and kept trying to band aide the job. I had several contractors look over the installs and was told by all of them that in their professional opinions, everything would need to be redone from scratch. This was absolutely one of the most stressful and devastating things Iâ ve ever encountered in my life. It was back to the drawing board on hiring another contractor and hopefully not get burned again. I had several estimates and was fortunate enough to learn about Economy Restoration through my boyfriend who had been selling merchandise for the past couple of years to the COO, Rob Knotts. I did my research and saw that they are a fairly new company with great reviews. I spoke with Rob and explained the situation and he understood my positioning entirely and went above and beyond to assure me I was in good hands this time. Rob came to my home to assess the prior installs and came to all the same conclusions as the other contractors and more. He was very thorough and taught me more about the prior job that made me 100% ready to get these installations redone properly. I was still very nervous over the situation because nobody should have to go through this all over again in a year and coming 100% out of my pocket this time. My boyfriend and I picked out the new colors of shingles and siding and were ready to pull the trigger for the 2nd time and hopefully the last time for this project. The installations were setup for November 2019, exactly a year after the prior job. The roof was the first to be installed and the amount of issues from the prior contract blew me away once I got a better look over it all. The crew did an excellent job in repairing all these matters and they knocked it out in ONE DAY! That wasnâ t the case with the last company, so I was thrilled to see my brand-new roof with proper drip edge, overhang and flashing. Up next was the siding installation and there was quite a bit of wood and facia replaced during this process. Economy made sure to stick 100% to their contract and go above and beyond on my home. Economy made my home look brand new! Installed the roof, siding and repaired many matters from the prior contractors. I canâ t thank Rob enough for his attention to detail and knowing how tender a situation this has been for my household. The roofing and siding crew moved quickly, but made sure to do the jobs right, cleaned up behind themselves and not damage anything in the process. "The experience of having a roof installed on a home that is attached to a neighbor has all the pitfalls that could negatively affect your relationship with your neighbor. As well as affecting the other neighbors because parking is at a premium at this city location. "The installers arrived on time and were professional in their work.  I had done a lot of research on gutter guard systems and determined that the Gutter Dome was the best solution - stainless steel with a mesh that would not pass debris from the roof or pine needles.  They finished fairly quickly and appeared to have done a good job.  Upon later closer inspection we found some roofing shingles that were left up and several ends that were not finished.  We have a "V" joint where the garage roof meets the main house.  We were assured that the Gutter Dome would capture the water flow in this corner without a baffle.  That turned out not to be the case, so they returned to add a baffle, finish the ends and lay the shingles flat.
      Later we found that a light mist or heavy dew would not go through the mesh so we ended up with a constant dripping all around the house.  This would not be a problem except that it drips right over the front and rear entrance doors and that moisture freezes in the winter leaving a slick coating of ice.  In a heave dew the water collects and runs in rivulets across the surface of the Gutter Dome and over the edge of the gutter.  The solution was supposed to be a scrubbing with a detergent such as Simple Green and/or the passage of time.  Not so.  After over a year it was still dripping.  The company is now under new ownership but after an initial miscommunication we had a visit from Will to try to correct the problem.  He arrived on time, in fact early enough to observe the dripping.  His initial idea was to run a bead of silicone along the surface of the Gutter Dome, but I questioned the longevity of that solution.  He ended up installing a 1/4" hand-cut deflector near the edge of the gutter.  Unfortunately that didn't help. 
    After a few more calls and discussions with Kieth and Dan, Will came back and replaced a number of sections of the Gutter Dome with the slightly wider mesh Magna.  Water from heavy dew and light rain can more easily get through the Magna's surface and that appears to have taken care of the problem.  It's almost impossible to tell where one stops and the other begins except for the drips over the edge of the gutter.  No pine needles or debris get through either.
     This dripping was not a problem with our old system (which is no longer available) and we were very disappointed with the way this installation had turned out but impressed with Kieth, Dan & Will's willingness to correct it.  In the meantime I've changed their responsiveness and overall rating to A's thanks to their efforts.  I will say, however that it took numerous calls and quite a bit of time before they did come back (we are 2 hours away from their location but within their service area), so be persistent.
     All in all we are happy with the installation and still believe this is the best gutter guard system available.  I would not hesitate to use them if we were starting over again."
