He immediately followed up with the part number of the part which had likely failed and a link to Sears PartsDirect to order the part. After our session I removed the wall oven from the kitchen cabinet enclosure, found the suspected part, and confirmed it had indeed failed (as we had discussed during our session. I just ordered the part, and will plan to complete the oven repair when it arrives in a week or so. I'll definitely plan to use this Neli service again when needed."

"It went as I expected, which is a rare event these days.  Seriously.  I called Appliance Fixx, they were knowledgeable and polite, gave me an appointment.  The service man was on time, knowledgeable, polite, and clean.  He did the job quickly and cleanly.  There was no effort to sell me anything else or make an excuse for being late.  (he wasn't)  There was no trash talk about the competition, or his co-workers etc.  This was me second appliance to have repaired by them and I will call them the next time.

"Tuesday night was MISERABLE without AC. As I lie sweating in bed, with all of the fans running, I pulled up Angie's List to find some relief. I made the purchase for $59 Heating or Cooling Diagnostic Service Call and sent an email to the listed address at 10:34PM, hoping I could get this scheduled pretty quickly. To my surprise, I got a response from Derrick Bohannon at 11:11PM, informing me that dispatch would call me the following day. Super quick response, which is much appreciated! I got a call on Wednesday afternoon and was told that the techs should be to my house between 2-4PM on Friday. I work standard office hours, so I asked if they could call me when they were on their way. I worked through lunch so I wouldn't have to take as much vacation time, and at 3:45PM, I still hadn't heard anything, so I headed home just in case they forgot to call (this was not the case). At 4:30PM, I still hadn't heard anything. I called the office and she told me she would call the tech and call right back. She called back shortly after and said that he was still about an hour away and should be headed there soon. I got a text from the tech about 15 minutes later saying he was on his way (but I was already told that he was a job that was about an hour away). He arrived between 5:45 & 6PM. I understand that some calls take longer, but I feel like this was a bit too much waiting, considering I was originally given a 2 hour time period for his arrival, and he didn't show up until nearly 2 hours after that period was over. I know that this is not his fault, but scheduling could probably be looked at to ensure you're not messing with people's busy lives. I did miss an appointment due to this, but I was able to reschedule, so it wasn't that big of a deal.. But still. Also, when he arrived, he was smoking in the vehicle. Okay, whatever.. But then he flicked the cigarette butt on the street in front of my house... I was definitely shocked. I would have gladly provided a trashcan for the butt, as opposed to having him pollute my neighborhood. He did a great job at fixing the issue and my AC has worked great since (3 days), however, I feel as though customer service is incredibly important too.. So I thought I would share my experience. I probably would hire this company again, but they did not wow me, except for the initial quick response...So maybe not."

"A#1 air technician did the spring tune up perfectly. No complaints about the quality of the work. However, there is quite a bit of upselling that I do not like. They recommend some systems that may or may not improve the overall efficiency of the compressor. And they try to cross sell other services like Electrical safety check. Also, my neighbor had a very large price quote for an AC Capacitor replacement with A#1 air - and when he called the supervisor, they were able to reduce the price down to a more realistic one. This to me is an orange flag. "

"When they came out, they said that wouldn't work on ours because we needed an all weather or something type of thing. We ended up spending like $175 or $200 I don't know, they ended up putting a different one in. The service was easy. They were very nice."

"I bought a Choice Home Warranty for my aging mother as I don't live in the same town as she does and can't help her in the way I'd like to, especially with repairs to her appliances and systems. Having a full home warranty with Choice, it has given me the peace of mind knowing that I can get someone in to help her that isn't taking advantage of her age and situation and overcharging her. We've had to have 2 repairs this first year; her gas stovetop and her washing machine. The stovetop took several visits to get the problem fixed but that was for parts, but we only had to pay the service fee and it works just fine now. We were very pleased with the repair serviceperson and how he treated my mother. The washing machine had a problem, we called, someone showed up and checked out the machine and said it was a really, really old washing machine and said it would be more expensive to repair that replace. Choice paid $350 for the washing machine replacement value and that doesn't really buy a replacement as Maytag washing machines run about $600 for the bottom model, but it still was something to help towards the cost of replacing and overall, I'm very happy with the Choice Home Warranty product."
