He arrived at our home on time and quickly diagnosed two problems. Although he had another service call to make at 5:00 pm, he returned at 7:30 with the required parts (three in all-two from his warehouse and one from an auto parts store) and finished the job. Since the weather was in the 90's every day, we were extremely grateful for his willingness to provide same day, after-hours service. "Technician came to the house and analyzed the problem. It was determined that the cost of repair was over the allowable Choice Home Warranty limit and it should be replaced. Choice Home Warranty issued their replacement cost. This cost was unacceptable and I challenged their figure. After some negotiation I was offered an increased settlement amount. I still balked at their offer but I was told to take it or repair my old microwave. I finally accepted their amount, even though it is still well below what it will cost me to replace the unit. I might add that the existing microwave has the convection feature and I want to replace with same features. The cost that I will receive also does not include any removal, disposal or installation costs.
