"It went well. He was quick and did a successful repair. I don’t have any idea what the going rate for that kind of work but I felt it was a bit high for only 15 or 20 minutes and only two screws were added. I will call him again if I need any other work done."

"D is AWESOME! We hired D back in March 2021 after a roof leak caused water damage to a bathroom wall. The leak also caused mold from the moisture in the attic. After cleaning the attic of mold and removing damaged insulation D also tore out and repaired damaged walls. We were so pleased with the work D completed and would not hesitate to hire him again, which we did….."

"The accent shingles on my house were very dirty and the paint on my front door was blistering and chipping away. I wanted the two to be a single color complementing the color of the house. I got bids from several contractors; all were pretty much in line with each other in terms of prices. There were two factors in my choice to go with Absolute Painting an Power Washing. First, the reviews I read from various sources shows their quality is stellar; second, their color consultant spent the time necessary with me to choose the right color ( not included in the bid ). They spent two full days stripping the door of its old paint, and then prepping and applying primer and paint to the shingles and door. When all was done, I was amazed at how it turned out. The new accent colors added character to the house. Their workmanship is second to none with no flaws in the areas they painted. They even went as far as providing touch up to the trim where paint had chipped off over the years. When I'm ready for the house to be fully repainted, I now know who to turn to."

"Rick did an amazing job on our bathroom remodel. It turned out so beautiful. He is so easy to work with and has a great sense of humor. We had some unique challenges and because of his engineer-mind, he was able to troubleshoot and figure out solutions very quickly. We are already thinking about a kitchen remodel! Thanks so much Rick!"

"Highly recommended -- Brad and his Pull Out Shelf Company are great. He installed pull-out shelves in our kitchen cabinets 7 years ago. They've been so great we returned to Brad for pull-out shelves installed last week in a new large cabinet we put in to take advantage of a hollow space under our stairs. Just as satisfied with the new storage space and ease of access. Brad gives good advice about storage, good referrals to a cabinet maker, quality product and installation, and easy to deal with and always true to his word about timing and installation of the pull-out shelving. The end result is a great addition to our home easily accomplished."

"I got three estimates, Dave's wasn't the cheapest but lets say I felt more comfortable with him and his crew doing the job. On Mon. July 7th just before 8 AM Dave, his son and young man 'like Dave's second son' arrived. Little bit later two young men, son's friends who are recent high school graduates got here. By 5 PM all the old fence was in a trailer to haul off, all the fence posts were set in concrete, not powdered stuff and water but concrete they mixed in a wheel barrow on site. I'd asked Dave if they could also get rid of a small shed that was falling apart. Former owners used it for their oil barrel. It was now a spider house! Dave said there wouldn't be an extra charge for getting rid of it. I didn't need fencing across back of the yard because town houses sprouted up there few years ago and developer put in a tall fence (yea!) for privacy. But when my old fence, across the back, was gone can see developer evidently didn't use pressure treated wood so in few years I'll have Dave fence that too. <br /> Even though the workers were young they did not goof off or horse around, they worked hard and it was so hot outside. <br /> On July 10, 8 AM the crew came back and put up the fences and gates. They used tight knot cedar with dog tooth to boards. Was going to have lattice along top like old fence but decided against it. Really like my new fence. My ground isn't even but the fence is built so it is in a nice straight line. My 15 # dog found a place he could get out under an area of fence so Dave put up a board along there. That kept him in the yard. But then dog found he could squeeze under one of the gates. I emailed Dave, he showed up that Sat. morning and sunk five concrete pavers into the dirt under the gate. So far so good. Never thought I'd have all new fencing in two working days. I am very pleased. <br /> Pat <br />"

"Originally we had planned to do the entire process of building a deck ourselves to replace one that had outlasted its service life. We spent considerable time talking with lumber yards, reading online reviews of materials, and even designing a deck to city code. Then we realized the effort needed to complete the project was far beyond what we wanted to do. We contacted TnT Builders upon recommendation of a lumber yard, as well as contacted two good carpenters with deck building experience. TnT Builders provided the most competitive bid, with the most experience deck building, and the quickest build schedule. We were pleasantly surprised on how much they contributed to the project even though we had already spent so much time on the material selection and design--they improved upon our design, recommended a better selection of materials, and worked with us throughout the entire process. They handled the process from demolition and disposal of the old deck through permitting and construction to final approval. The city even required a soils test for the permit, and the provider took care of it all. The actual time to demolish and build the deck was about five working days, truly impressive. We were impressed and welcomed their willingness to work with us, taking our daily input with respect and a smile, throughout the entire process. We can't say enough about the quality of their work, which was true for the entire crew. They are truly professionals from the owners, the office staff, and their carpenters. We were very pleased with the entire process and highly recommend them for any deck or patio project! For some background on the project, we replaced a 34-year old non-treated wood deck with a contemporary deck consisting of concrete piers, treated wood structure, composite decking, rails, and post sleeves, and aluminum pickets. Plus we had dimmable LED lighting installed under each post cap. The deck is about 6-7 feet above ground, warps around a portion of the house and is about 340 sq.ft. The design, at our request, was better than code, we used larger structural members and closer structural spacing. We expect to get many enjoyable, low-maintenance years out of our deck. The deck is truly beautiful and compliments our house perfectly. Thanks TnT Builders, you did a fantastic job of building our deck. <br />"

FAQs for shed, barn or playhouse repair projects in Molalla, OR

You’ll know it’s time for a new shed roof if shingles curl or buckle, soft spots sag, or water stains appear inside. Moss or other plant growth on the surface is another red flag that moisture has breached the roofing layers. Replacing the roof quickly stops leaks from spreading, protects stored items, and saves you from costlier structural repairs down the road.

Choosing between a flat and a sloped shed roof comes down to climate, budget, and upkeep. A flat roof is cheaper up front, but still needs a slight pitch for drainage. A sloped roof sheds rain and snow more easily, lasts longer, and often needs less maintenance. Weigh your local weather patterns, the look you want, and how much time you’re willing to spend on upkeep before deciding.

A shed roof’s life span hinges on the material you choose and how well you maintain it. Most standard products last 15 to 30 years, while premium picks like slate or clay tile can protect the structure for 50 to 100 years. Regular inspections, fast fixes, and routine cleaning all help you reach the upper end of those ranges and keep your tools and gear dry year-round.
