"Greg was a lifesaver. I decided to move from New Jersey to Kentucky and it was overwhelming. Greg took charge. I needed some items to be disposed of from a storage unit. He came one evening and took care of that. Then he came back and loaded up that storage unit and my upstairs apartment, all by himself, during the process he communicated everything, was efficient and very professional. He drove my belongings to Kentucky and unloaded them all. My next plan is to build a house here and I’m 100% highing Greg to do the job. He’s highly skilled in all areas of renovations and construction, I’ve seen his work, he truly cares and is an expert in all areas and he goes above to make sure that you feel comfortable in all steps of the way. Thank you so much Greg!"

"Joe Carty just finished our kitchen remodeling job and I have nothing but praise for the job Joe did. From the moment we met Joe he was always professional. Joe adhered to his schedule and was on the job each day for a full day of work. His work is meticulous and detailed and nothing is left undone. When Joe noticed some other issues in our house needed addressing he took care of it. Joe is a great person and I highly recommend him. I would have no reservation in having hiring Joe again. BTW Joe also installed a new shower in our bathroom while doing the kitchen remodeling. He’s amazing!"

"Weathertite did an amazing job all the way through. Installation of replacement gutters and downspouts excellent (and clean work as well!). Dave is an excellent sales manager, and he explained the Leaf X product so well. Also, special "shout out" to Joel who us a fabulous administrator. Highest recommendation to this team. Our house now has a nice added value with a permanent gutter solution (no clogs, no warped coverings)."

"The walls in my Riverdale co-op apartment were plain and dull. I wanted color, but I knew realistically that I couldn’t do the work, and I didn’t want amateurs making a mess. So, I called CertaPro Painters of Westchester. CertaPro Painters transformed my apartment in just two days! The place looks gorgeous! They did great work, and very clean work because no paint was dripped onto my wood floors. I proudly tell people, “Oh, I had my apartment professionally painted. I used CertaPro Painters of Westchester. You should check them out!” Look, here’s truth. Professional singers sing, professional cooks cook, and professional painters paint. Let the professionals, CertaPro Painters of Westchester, do what they do best. You’ll be so glad you did."

"The project took much longer than expected to finish because there was a shortage in supplies. As soon as the supplies arrived, Ekram’s team resumed the work right away and worked through cold winter days to complete the project. Ekram is responsive to our requests. The workers are also friendly and professional although they needed reminders to keep the work areas clean sometimes."

"This is the 6th roof they’ve done for us and it came out looking really sharp. Done in one day (as usual) and thoroughly cleaned up. Affordable and professional. We would never call anyone else for a roof or deck."

FAQs for major home repair (general contractor) projects in Monroe, CT

In many cases, it’s much less expensive to convert a bus than to buy an RV, especially if you’re considering a newer RV model, which can exceed $100,000.

Another huge benefit of school bus conversion is that you are in control of the renovation project. You get to pick your camper's new layout and all the appliances and furniture.

While school buses can easily cost $300,000 when they're new, you can often find used buses for just a few thousand dollars. These vehicles experience extreme depreciation due to government regulations; they can only be used for so long before they must be replaced. Due to those same regulations, other government agencies cannot purchase them for their own uses, so the consumer market is the only place they can go.

The length of time it takes to convert a bus depends on the scope of the project (and size of the bus), how much work is DIY vs. done by a professional contractor, and how much work you’re doing up front.

In general, expect at least a couple of months for a conversion, but larger conversions could take six months to a year. Remember: You can tackle projects as you go: Get the basic work done so that it’s livable, and then continue to enhance your living space over time.
