"Anton was easy to work with. Sent email on a Sunday. He called in five minutes and came that afternoon to look at the job. Replaced baseboard in four bedrooms and repaired a hole in the ceiling. All work was completed in two days starting that Monday. The carpenter that did the baseboards (I think his name is John) was great, neat and did a wonderful job. I will definately call Anton again. "I’ve had several projects with Unique Construction and my experiences have been very positive. David the owner is knowledgeable and very accommodating. Dave listens and discusses the different options and outcomes for the job. He cares and works with you to navigate to get you to what you want. Dave has really gone above and beyond for me. I also can’t say enough about the crew, they are professional, punctual, they work really well together and they keep the work site clean. Having work done in your home is not something anyone looks forward to but these guys really make it a good experience. The quality and workmanship is top notch. After my first time working with Unique I was amazed at the results. I thought to myself wow this came out great, much better than what I was expecting. Now after working with Unique several times and knowing the level of work these guys do –they still far exceed my expectations time and again. It’s obvious these guys care about the work they do. "We live in a prewar coop building in Manhattan and were in need of a kitchen, living and dining room/den renovation. Because of the limitations in our building, we were not optimistic that many changes could be made that would dramatically alter the feel/function of the space. Inson Wood proved us completely wrong. With his architectural eye and his impeccable design aesthetic we (and everyone who has been here before and after) experiences our apartment as an entirely different living space. Even family members are shocked at the transformation. I think that what Inson accomplished was the product of a few significant factors. First, Inson asks you what you want and seriously considers how you live. If Inson thinks that different approaches should be considered for what you want, he provides renderings of each option so that you can easily visualize and imagine them. Ultimately, Inson respects your preferences and works with them, elevating them to a level far above what you had imagined. Inson uses the highest quality vendors (whom we NEVER would have found) and expertly guides you through choices (note: follow his recommendations!!!)- our walls would never have had dimension and our kitchen backsplash never have been so unique (two examples) if not for the artisans that Inson uses. Inson is also willing to have you be as much or as little involved in the process as you want to be. I did go with Inson to choose many pieces of furniture but realized after a certain point that his taste point made me confident in him choosing much finishing work (ex: window treatments, decorative cushions, which I love) without me. As with all design work, there are always glitches and Inson was extremely responsive and responsible for taking care of those as they came up. We are nothing less than thrilled to come home each evening and enjoy our space, which feels like a luxurious retreat perfectly tailored to us."

"Scott rebuilt my kitchen. Not only did he install all of my appliances, he also built me a breakfast nook. Tiles are flushed together making the surfaces smooth and easy to clean. He communicated with me through each process of renovations and addressed all of my concerns. He also built a drainage system through my yard and both at the top and bottom of my driveway to prevent flooding. If I ever had a question, he always had an answer."

"I hired Remodeling Concepts based on a recommendation. Right from the start Derek was very responsive and once at my home he was full of ideas and suggestions to help us with our remodel. I brought in 3 contractors before hiring RC. The estimates were all around the same amount and Derek was right in line with his prices but he offered a lot more than anyone else I spoke to. Throughout the remodel, the entire staff were professional and friendly. I actually got to the point that I felt that the guys had become family...my dogs even liked them! Derek and his staff were always available when I needed them and anytime I made changes to the project Derek took it in stride and worked with me to make sure I was happy.
