"Johnson and Sons Construction came through for us in an urgent situation; the vertical trim of the garage door opening accidentally got knocked in while the car was going in, which misaligned the garage door track and also cracked adjacent siding. Vic was very responsive and came out the next day to realign the trim and assured us that the damage was not structural (as a result we were able to quickly arrange for a garage door specialist to readjust and tune up the garage door system). He delivered on his commitment to provide an estimate to replace the damaged siding and have his team come out to do the work, scheduling us for within a couple of weeks. John and Tony did great work replacing the siding, which looks seamless and was made to ready-to-paint condition. Communication was clear and responsive throughout, and we received timely and good quality service that matched the scope of the estimate. I would not hesitate to contact them again in the future and thank them for the peace of mind in a pinch."

"I interviewed several contractors for my addition and addition and I chose Andrew because I felt like he was straightforward with the project and the risks that come with a remodel of an 80 year old house along with the primary suite addition. Through the design phase, we never felt pressured to make decisions, but were kept informed of the timing of the project and when we needed to make decisions in order to schedule the project in a way that minimized the impact to our family. Andrew walked us through each item in the contract and worked with us to make changes to fit our budget and kept us informed on what we could expect for changes for a project like ours. Once we were out on contract, Andrew helped push permits through county and kept us informed on what we could expect for duration and timing of the project. Once the work began, Andrew and his right hand man Rod worked efficiently and coordinated the project beautifully to minimize the amount of time that we were displaced from our home. Thoughtful suggestions were made to deal with the numerous issues that come with renovating an 80 year old house and Andrew supported my questions on cost impact and the criticality of each change to keep me informed so that we could make decisions that we felt comfortable with. Andrew and his team of subcontractors were all very friendly and respectful of our family, never making myself, my wife, or 3 kids feel unsafe at any time. Even with the changes to the scope of work, Andrew and his team made good on the timeline of the project, completing everything in 3-4 months as promised when we started. The layout and design of the remodel and addition have surpassed our expectations, everything that we did has really made our home both more beautiful and more functional. I would highly recommend Treiber Building and have done so to several family members and colleagues at work. The experience was as positive as I couldâ ve hoped and the results are outstanding."

"Pros: The employee who did the work did a great job, he was left alone to work on the house most days and only had help for a short period. They worked with the customer to pick a plan and did not force anything without agreement of the customer. Cons: Was difficult to work with when something changed. Their electrical contractor misquoted codes and when brought up that I didn't want him doing the work (as he was attempting to charge an additional $4,000.00 to move the breaker box that was not necessary) it was difficult to have the estimate reflect that work was not being done. It appears that they do not have a cost per line estimate system that they can provide to the customer if requested. Also it seemed as though they took his job as a second job to do when they didn't have something better. There were times that I wondered if the contractor would even show up and what was quoted as a 7 day job ended up taking close to 6 weeks. Also have not finished adding the privacy glass in the bathroom window as was ordered. They advised the window store messed up and they would be out to fix the problem, this was approx 1 month ago and I haven't heard anything to date. Overall - Good Builders but don't plan to have great communication or the job completed on the timeline they gave."

"Professional, courteous, reliable, honest, hard working, thoughtful and everything you want in a contractor. I have worked with many companies but I have never been this impressed. First of all, the owner is great to work with. He showed up everyday to make sure everything went according to plan. He was very meticulous and brought out a structural engineer several times to make sure that things were done safely and we wouldn’t have any problems down the road. He always had great ideas and what I appreciated was that he wasn’t always trying to upsell you and had cost in mind because re-modeling projects always have unexpected surprises. Gashin took our outdated downstairs and completely changed the look of our home into a stunning modern home. They took out all the tile flooring and installed new hardwood floors, took down several walls to make an open concept space for our kitchen and dining room, refaced the fireplace, installed a new island and countertops for the kitchen, and all the small things involved in a renovation like ours. To add, they did all this in about 6 weeks. I appreciate how our project was not in conjunction with others which helped to make the whole process super timely. Yes, there was dust but they covered everything up and made sure that the zone was clean every night.
