"They were fine and installed the stairlift as soon as possible. I neglected to ascertain whether my mother would use it. As it turned out, she refused, so it was useless for my mother and now she is deceased. I am very happy with the lift and its performance. I use it on occasion. Also, be aware that it will limit the clearance on your stairway, so would be in the way of moving larger items upstairs unless they can be moved BY the lift. It is helpful for moving heavy or bulky items that will fit on the seat or foot platform."

He took out our tub and single shower and installed 2 shower head bathroom with heated flooring, floating vanity, and another light above the shower. He is respectful of our home and a dog person for sure! He left everything nice and neat and went through thoroughly to ensure he did not leave any dust or debris past his working hours. "Johnson & Sons remodeled our 1990's kitchen and replaced all of the flooring on the first floor and staircase of our home during the months of May - August of 2022. We met with multiple local companies to bid the work and Vic's bid came in under or comparable to the other estimates we received. We chose their company based on referral, price, and comfort level with Vic. Vic is fantastic to work with. He is knowledgeable, responsive, and creates a culture of partnership on his team's projects. This was our first time tackling a renovation project of this scope and using a general contractor. Vic and his team made the experience comfortable and as enjoyable as it could be considering we had no kitchen! :) There was a long wait time to get the project started due to Covid-caused supply issues on Johnson and Sons other jobs (we originally met with Vic in June of 2021 and the work did not start until May of 2022). It was hard to be patient, but it actually worked in our favor. Being able to choose and purchase materials in advance meant no supply issues or back orders once our project got started. Every sub that Vic and Jon used on our job or vendor he referred us to was professional, kind, and did a great job. If we ever had a question about quality or how the job was progressing (and we had a lot -- remember we'd never done this before!) Vic was patient, flexible, and worked with us until we were satisfied. As our job progressed, issues within our home were uncovered that were not in the scope of work included in our kitchen remodel. A water leak was found in an adjacent wall when kitchen drywall was removed, and holes in our roof were discovered when the electrician was in the attic running conduit. Even though these setbacks were not part of our kitchen remodel, Vic's guys jumped in and found solutions or recommended sub contractors to solve problems. There were multiple times that we had questions and within minutes either Vic or Jon were on site to address a concern or answer a question-- even after our job was complete. We could not be more excited about our new kitchen or pleased with our choice of contractor. We are already planning to hire Johnson and Sons again to renovate our primary bathroom!"

"I am a repeat customer, so I knew the carpenter, Joe, coming in. I started by using their design contractor. I gave her the colors and ideas (beach theme, ceramic wood-look floor tiles), and she pulled the rest together. Invaluable because I can't trust my own taste. They removed a square shower in the corner and a set of shelves next to it, and glassed in that end of the room for a full shower. We put tile down along the whole room, with a recessed shower pan, and a linear drain against the wall. Joe built-in medicine cabinets, and trim all around the room, per my design pictures. The subs included a glass door guy, the plumber, the tiler, painter, and the countertop slab tiler. We also had some work done in our hallway. They removed the single boob light from the middle, and installed two recessed lights on either end, along with putting two switch boxes on either end of the hallway. Joe built a floor to ceiling cabinet in a 13” dead space at the end of the hallway, which included a laundry hamper on tracks, cubbies, and shelves. And then on a whim, I asked to have our old hallway linen cupboard doors replaced to match the new ones. We had two leaks during and after, but one reason I would use them again, is how they handled both times. One was a leak from the plug on the toilet supply. We found it on a Saturday morning, and I ended up waking up our carpenter with my text. He came out and figured it out and fixed it by 1. The other one was after everything was done and cleaned up, and we had paid for everything. The basement bathroom ceiling, fan, and wall below the master was wet one day, and we realized a joint in the pipe from the master toilet to the stack was slowly dripping between the two rooms. I texted Joe again, and he referred me to our GC, who came out with a plumber and fixed it. They had to make a hole in the downstairs drywall, so he has been coming back regularly to put three layers of mud on the new drywall. I was so sure that they would regretfully find that it wasn't their fault and we would have to deal with the cost and bother of finding a plumber and carpenter. Start to finish, it took about four months, but three weeks of that was the initial tile order, and another three for an incorrect tile order."
