"Had an amazing experience with this team. From Devyn in sales to Trace and Darren getting our new windows in, every person we interacted with was extremely professional and kind. They did a phenomenal job on our windows and got, what I thought would've taken over a week, done in 3 days. If you're even curious about getting something done on the exterior of your home or business, I highly recommend giving them a call."

"Woody's excavating is a great outfit and we have recommended them to a number of friends. We have hired them numerous times over the past three years, at every phase of building our home. Randy and Darryl did an excellent job every time: clearing the land, digging for the foundation and septic, trenching for water, power, and drainage lines, and putting the finishing touches on the drive way. Randy is easy to work with. He is honest and has earned our trust. He always works to do the right thing. The results are always excellent, exceeding our expectations. Finally, we have always been appreciative of his focus on safety."

"I had water in my basement due to a crack in my foundation. Moose was prompt and responsive to my request for an estimate. He provided a very fair price for his services. The work was very well done. I really appreciated his approach: do a great job, but don't fleece the public with unnecessary repairs. <br /> <br /> <br />"

"I had all the lower cupboards in the kitchen and both bathrooms done.  The original shelves were only half shelves on the top and there was a lot of wasted space. Also had a blind corner that I could no longer make use of (love this option). They look great and it is so much easier to find what I need and use what I have. They were pricey but we could not do the job ourselves and they are good quality.  We ordered over Christmas and it still only took 4 weeks. The installers were efficient and cleaned up after themselves."

FAQs for shed, barn or playhouse repair projects in Monroe, WA

You’ll know it’s time for a new shed roof if shingles curl or buckle, soft spots sag, or water stains appear inside. Moss or other plant growth on the surface is another red flag that moisture has breached the roofing layers. Replacing the roof quickly stops leaks from spreading, protects stored items, and saves you from costlier structural repairs down the road.

Choosing between a flat and a sloped shed roof comes down to climate, budget, and upkeep. A flat roof is cheaper up front, but still needs a slight pitch for drainage. A sloped roof sheds rain and snow more easily, lasts longer, and often needs less maintenance. Weigh your local weather patterns, the look you want, and how much time you’re willing to spend on upkeep before deciding.

A shed roof’s life span hinges on the material you choose and how well you maintain it. Most standard products last 15 to 30 years, while premium picks like slate or clay tile can protect the structure for 50 to 100 years. Regular inspections, fast fixes, and routine cleaning all help you reach the upper end of those ranges and keep your tools and gear dry year-round.
