"Allen, owner of ARM, was professional, personable, and extremely competent. He planned the project so that I received the most exacting proposal and estimate for any project I have had done. He was required to cut through a support beam and ensured the structural integrity of the roof would not be impacted before starting the install. He took two days to complete the installation of the stairway that was 11 foot high. He included some extra work laying down a plywood platform to walk and stand on. Both days exceeded 8 hours — he worked until the planned work was finished. After completing the installation, he spent time cleaning up the garage ensuring no trash or dirt was left behind. I would hire ARM Construction in a minute for any small or large future construction related projects. I can’t say enough good about Allen and his work."

"I interviewed several contractors for my main bathroom remodel and chose VKB for their professionalism, design, and overall approach to the process. My objective was to have a large shower with a seat since the existing shower was the size of a phone booth and the bathroom configuration presented challenges. From the very first meeting with the design consultant, BURJU, I was impressed with her ideas and suggestions and her willingness to work within my established budget. "We had wanted a screened in porch for a while and began to talk with contractors in Spring 2019. We felt very comfortable after talking with Goliath that not only were they capable and in the ballpark of the other estimates, but that they were truly committed to quality work. We began working with them on the designs and specifications, and we had lots of questions because although we knew generally what we wanted, there were lots of details and decisions to be made. They struck the perfect balance of making suggestions, pricing out options, and providing guidance without dictating changes. We changed our minds several times about this or that and they were always amenable. I should note that the job was not only the addition but replacing two large windows in the back, one with a custom sliding door and the other with 3 windows. The addition included a deck, an outdoor gas fireplace and TV, so they had to run electric and gas line. They also replaced our roof and gutters. There were challenges (the shop we bought the windows from dropped them loading for delivery, the inspections were, at times, nightmarish), but Goliath stayed calm, made adjustments, and pushed through. I should also say there were many crews working and all were extremely professional and respectful. We would definitely use Goliath again and would highly recommend them to others."

"American Home Contractors performed roof repairs for me and they were absolutely fantastic!!! We recently moved into our home. At the time of purchase, there were water stains on one of the upstairs bedroom ceilings, however, the home inspector did not note any problems with the roof. After a number of rain storms, it appeared as if the water marks were becoming darker and more prominent. After one particularly bad storm, I used a ladder to touch the ceiling and discovered that it was wet. I called a well known roofing company (not American Home Contractors) to get an estimate on repairs. After that company came out, we were advised that one of the boot seals had degraded and that we needed it replaced. (The agent who came to the house also gave us the hard sell to replace our entire roof.) I was e-mailed the repair estimate which was over $500 to replace a boot seal!! I declined to have that company perform the work on our roof and started looking for another roofing company. Enter American Home Contractors. I received a mailer from American Home Contractors which advertised repairs of boot seals for $149. I called the company to double check that the advertised cost was accurate and I was told that it was. I scheduled an appointment with them and waited to see what would happen. The day before the appointment I was provided an appointment reminder as well as the name of the technician who would be coming to the house. On the date of the appointment, I received a phone call from the tech, Paul Cox, notifying me that he was running ahead of schedule and checking to see if he could arrive at my home a bit early. Wonderful! Paul arrived early and got to work surveying the roof. He did not give me the hard sell to replace my entire roof. He was candid about issues with my roof but did not press me to undertake any additional repairs. He performed the repairs right then and there and even went above and beyond to perform some additional repairs that we did not schedule at no additional cost. Based on my experience with Paul, I felt that Paul was honest, trustworthy, hardworking and dependable. American Home Contractors will definitely be earning my business again. I cannot recommend them enough!!!"
