"Great work!!! I needed to add outlets to an newly restored outside/inside deck. When the installer arrived, I told him exactly where I wanted the outlets and switches. He told me most of my layout was no problem but one of the outlets and switch would require a lot more electrical wire (which is very expensive at this time (May â 21). He give me an alternate layout that did what I wanted for NO extra cost over the original quote! IES, LLC is my contractor now for all future electrical work!"

After hearing a pop and a burning smell, I knew I would need an electrician, so I reached out to DLP Electric since they're not too far from where I live and received a response from Don within 20 minutes. We scheduled a time to him and his teammate to come the very next morning. Communication was great and he and his teammate arrived on time. The consultation was free and the work was very reasonably priced. I also really appreciate that they made themselves available to come out before another job that morning. And both of them were incredibly friendly and safe, wearing masks while doing the repair. Both shorted outlets were diagnosed and repaired in roughly 30 minutes. Amazing! "I have changed the rating to an A for the review below because the company offered us a full refund for the trouble. I think this is a very professional way to do business. Other companies would simply had said " Too bad, we wont do anything about it." I appreciate the company's responsiveness and offer of a refund. __________________________________________________________________________________ We had no heat because the electrical on our thermostat was shorted out. I called a few electricians and they told me that they didn't do that, only simple installations. We had no heat and when I was making the appointment and I SPECIFICALLY told them that the thermostat was shorted and they assured me that they can fix it. This was on a Thursday for a Monday morning appt. since we were going to be away for the weekend. So I would have had plenty of time to schedule an HVAC ahead of time. When the electrician arrived - first thing he said was - that they don't work on the shorted thermostats only simple installation and I needed to call an HVAC. Needless to say I couldn't get an HVAC to come immediately and we had to live another day without heat."

"Might have been better to wire (c wire installation) to its own transformer rather than using the transformer directly attached to furnace - thermostat shuts down when furnace LWC light goes on (intermittent as an auto refill is attached) and does not restart itself (thermostat) until I turn the furnace switch on/off ??? Will have to have the furnace man check/correct this during the annual service this fall."
