"This is over a month in time and the leak turned into a stream of gushing hot water. There was a also a leak at the shut off valve so you couldn't cut off the water to the house completely. That had to be fixed first. While that was getting done, I had three different plumbers come out with an estimate of over $500. Each said they would be back the next day. Two of them I got off Angie's List of the top plumbers in my area. Of course, I didn't get a name since they would be back. Wish I had as I would certainly mention them by name on here. They didn't even have the courtesy to call. I did finally figure out cutting the hot water heater off so my gush was now cold water. I called Keith the Plumber and he came out. Was here maybe an hour and fixed my problem for just over $100. Knew exactly what the problem was. Very professional and a really nice, honest man so, I would highly recommend him. He is now in my contact list for plumbers."

"This gentleman realized the reason my water heater was spewing water, after only six years, was because there was no regulator on the water coming into the house and it was coming in at 150psi! He replaced the water heater and when I smelled gas afterwards he double checked all the pipes, including the gas pipes, and fixed the gas leaks, on an old pipe for the gas, immediately. Everything has worked wonderfully since!"

"I had an outside faucet that started leaking. I was very tempted to try to fix it myself or even have one of my neighbors attempt it. After all, ;replacing washers should be easy! Right? However, since the faucet had probably been in place for 30 or more years and I have no working water shut off valve to the house, other than at the street, I was hesitant to let anyone but a professional try the repair. It did turn out only a professional could fix it. It was more than just a washer...the valve also needed replacing. The faucet was very old and that valve is no longer made, even the handle was brittle, frozen on the stem, and the shut off valve inside the house was frozen with age. I tried Angis. Literally within a few minutes I got a call from Kevin, owner of WKD. Shortly Kevin was at my house looking at the job. He gave me an estimate which was exactly what he charged - and the price was very reasonable for the work and time he spent here. He ended up having to cut out the old pipes in the basement, removed the old hose bib and installed a new hose bib with new pipes and fittings. I am pleased with the outcome. "Serviced was performed. The technician and assistant arrived wearing masks. They were very polite and professional. He assessed the problem and provided me with two quotes: One, to unclog drain and repair garbage disposal. Two, unclog drain and replace garbage disposal. I chose the quote for a replacement. Service was performed rather quickly, within an hour after actual work was begun. I would definitely hire them again."

"It did not go well.  They installed a cheap attic fan and I had to have it replaced with a better one.  I thought the charge was excessive and wrote to the company - to no avail.
They wanted to sell me a new air conditioner and told me mine wouldn't last another summer.  It did.  I don't like the high pressure selling.
