"Great overall experience! Omar reached out shortly after assigning project on Angie, answered all questions to satisfaction and scheduled a consultation. They showed up on time, very professional, and walked the property and listened to our thoughts. Once aligned on camera and server locations, and agreement on moving forward with the installation on the price quoted originally by Omar, they started immediately! The installation of an 8-camera system took about 4 hours, with the crew remaining professional the entire time. Once the installation was complete, they help get the app setup on our phones, and walked us through, asking that I video the instructions for future replay as we learn the system! Then, once setup on our phones, went with us to adjust all cameras to our satisfaction! Overall, very satisfied with Lightspeed-Security, from beginning to end! I asked my family about the services they use, and several people warned me about the small print in most contracts, and how tough it is to get out of contracts. Angie's List was running a special with Security One/Safe Home Security systems; they are highly rated, so I bought the special. I am very pleased with the level of customer service: they responded quickly via email or phone to all of my questions. Their technician guided me on the doors & windows to select for motion sensors. I am able to track disarming of the security pad by user via email, which means an email pops up whenever my kids come home/disarm the system. I am also able to track arming/disarming via their mobile app, or use the mobile app to arm/disarm the house. The monthly payment plan is affordable & there are no contract surprises/changes written in. They also guide me on things I would have forgotten, like registering my alarm system with the local police. I appreciate their guidance and service.

"The Smith Thompson employee was very professional and kind. He did not engage in upselling, which we appreciate. He worked efficiently to get the DSC security system (installed by prior owner) up and running. The monthly service fee is very economical relative to other security companies. The system is now working fine. The technician advised us of the need to get an alarm permit from the City of Austin, which we appreciated. Cost was for transmitter ($89) plus a couple of months of service pre-paid."

"Very prompt response. Called on Saturday afternoon and came on Sunday. Very experienced, professional, and courteous. Most of all, he was very honest and rates are very reasonable. If you have any alarm issues, I would definitely give this guy a call. I normally do not take the time to do feedback, but the service and quality was excellent.
