"The job I had Carl to do for me was very big. He added a 750 sqft sunroom addition onto the front of my home, tying into the existing roof and matching existing stucco. I also had him reroof my whole home and add a covered walk tying into a shed that hadn't been delivered yet. It turned out beautiful. He did a great job and kept the cost within budget. I'm very happy with his workmanship and customer service, especially when faced with a problem. I'd definitely recommend him. He's easy to work with too. The job may have taken longer than expected, but when all of the building materials get delayed because a major hurricane diverts the entire country's supply chain to storm damaged areas, there's not much that can be done to overcome that but wait. Carl is straightforward and dependable. Overall, the finished work is excellent; you can't even tell that the room is an addition from the inside or the outside of the house. If I do have any problems (which I don't expect to), I know that I can count on Carl to come and address them. He's trustworthy and cares about his work. That's rare. No need to look further, he's the guy for your job. His subcontractors on my job were excellent too. The roofers were the only ones I had any trouble with, but Carl addressed the problem without question. Thanks Carl!! I'll call you first for future projects!"

"The painter was a sub-contractor to All Pro Services. The quote we agreed to with All Pro showed work that the painter did not agree with so constant renegotiations occurred throughout the project. Painter did not allow enough time to complete the quoted job so had to paint late at night to be able to meet their next scheduled job. The painter painted the entire interior of the house with a 9" mini-roller using a paint tray so work seemed time consuming. Would not use a ladder, so all high work was done with an extension handle including a brush attachment for the trim work. Coverage was adequate but several places on the ceiling were missed altogether. Did not provide their own drop cloths. All Pro owner and sub-contractor were very nice people but skill-wise the painter was not what we consider to be a professional painter. All Pro inspected the job and saw the problem areas and said they would call the painter back again if we wanted him to. We chose to redo ceiling areas and some of the trim errors ourselves."

"Our only complaint about Metro Reconstruction was the length of time it took to start the job. However, it’s hard to fault a company whose popularity and good work actually created their wait list. Ben explained that several of his other stucco projects had hidden complications that delayed the start of our small job. But in the end, our patience was rewarded and we were very happy with the result. Here’s a brief recap. In late December 2015, six months after we signed the contract, Ben contacted us to let us know that our stucco repair was next in line. Our stucco was damaged from a rogue woodpecker and we were seeking a permanent (non-lethal) solution to the problem. In a just a week or so, Ben was at our house reviewing the job details and taking a stucco sample to match our color. Now all we had to do was wait for the weather to warm up and even that arrived right on cue. The work crew was efficient, professional and polite. "Jon Thomas Construction was our contractor of choice for several major remodel projects between 2017 and 2018. We were so impressed by the quality of his work (as well as the professionalism exhibited by his crews) that we decided to contract with him again for conversion of our existing garage into a combination 2-car garage / exercise room. The existing garage had room for 4 cars, but only two of the spaces were being utilized with a single overhead door for two cars. The other half was available to us for storage or other use. The garage was well-insulated, however, still was too cold in the winter and too hot in the summer for comfort. We utilized parts of the existing garage for our workouts, but it was never a proper area for exercise. We are in our late 60s, so we ran the risk of pulling muscles (or worse) without performing stretching techniques and/or warmups. We decided to find a solution that would encourage us to exercise safely at all times of the year. We met with Jon in early January 2025, and he came up with a design to wall-off one half of the garage and insulate the new wall. He also suggested we install a “mini-split” HVAC unit to keep temperature comfortable. Our vision of the new exercise room included the use of acoustic panels, mirrors, and rubber matting on the floor. We also wished to replace an existing door, and, add a second door to isolate the new workout room from the garage. Jon provided his expert opinion on what materials to order and helped us determine the most cost-effective way(s) to proceed. Jon Thomas ensured that our project was completed on-time and at or under budget. We are happy with the finished product and are enjoying working out in our new exercise facility!
