"The owner Hunter was amazing to work with. He was not only on time,he was early. He would call if he finished another job to see if he could come earlier which we appreciated since someone broke into our home and we needed the glass replaced immediately. Hunter made sure the glass he used was 100% identical to the one that was broken. And he did it efficiently and professionally. We will definitely call back if we need any other glass work done."

"Tom and his team did an outstanding job on our bathroom upgrade. They removed the old floor and replaced it without creating a mess in our home. They put down drop cloths from the front door to the bathroom. They prepped the subfloor and installed new tile and moldings. When they were done they swept the work area. Excellent care of our home. They installed the toilet, new vanity, mirror, light and towel bars. We would highly recommend Nicholas Tile and Bath for your project. They were always professional and did a great job for us."

"Great communication, did a great job made the walls as good as new! Helped patch ceiling from electricians and patched holes from doors which made it look great. Had no problems with my indecisiveness on painting a wall and even offered suggestions. They were great to work with would hire again."

"I called with a question regarding what I thought may be a support beam that is blocking access to repair a jetted bathtub.  I needed an expert opinion before considering letting a handyman remove it.   Blake came out to my house personally, crawled into my tiny storage closet, moved insulation (without gloves lol) assessed the situation and assured me that it was OK to allow them to cut it.  He did not charge me and would not let me pay him.  Nicest guy you could want working in your home and we will without a doubt call him for any major projects we may need or want in the future.

"After consulting with the owner, we agreed to having the gazebo pressure washed instead of having it cleaned by hand; it would be quicker and more cost effective. The worker came on time on the designated day and was polite and efficient. A problem developed when the pressure washer roughed up the wood pretty badly during the cleaning. The worker did some hand sanding before applying the waterproofing, but the gazebo looked pretty rough. After letting it dry for a couple of days we examined it thoroughly and decided we were not satisfied with the results. I called the owner, who agreed to come out and examine the work. After looking it over he offered to come back the next day to go over the gazebo with a sanding machine, which we agreed to. He came the next day and corrected the problem. The owner was very pleasant and accommodating. The gazebo looks fine, and so do our sidewalks and patio which were also pressure washed by the worker. I would use this company again."

"Since this home is in historic Plaza Midwood he personally went to CHC meetings to get approval for remodeling changes.  This and handling inspectors was the most difficult part of this project.  Aside from that the remodeling went well.  The original flooring could not be saved so we added the same stained flooring over it and it looks spectacular. The new fireplace looks like it has been there forever and can heat the entire house. The craftsman trim and historic elements were all his design.  The colors of the rooms and the period doors really stand out.  He was involved in every aspect from plan and design to choosing tile and cabinetry.  The best part of this flip was that HGTV chose this house to feature in a show they are airing in the fall!  We only put the house on the market last week!

One of Chris's many strengths is that he keeps all of the details in perspective.  He explained things to us so that we could understand and feel comfortable with the process.  He is truly a very honest person and has repeatedly given us an amazing product at the best price possible.  He has no hidden agenda and has been exemplary."

FAQs for glass shower door or enclosure repair projects in Mooresville, NC

The type of glass shower you choose depends on your household size, lifestyle, and budget. Custom designs and frameless doors will cost more to install and repair. Framed glass shower doors can be a more budget-friendly option.

If your glass shower has many people using it daily, you also want to opt for durable glass options, and you’ll need to stay on top of maintenance and repairs.

Regular cleaning and sealing are key to keeping a glass shower door in its best shape. A glass shower door looks great in modern bathrooms, but when the glass is covered in dried water spots or smudged fingerprints, it can make the entire bathroom look messy.

  • Apply water repellent: Water repellent costs about $5 to $10. Use it to help wick away water droplets from the glass.

  • Squeegee the walls: Keep a squeegee in the shower, and use it to remove water from the glass after each shower; this only takes a few minutes.

  • Weekly cleaning: Each week, use a glass-safe cleaner or a foam cleaning eraser to scrub down glass shower walls.

  • Monthly cleaning: Check caulking and reapply as needed to prevent leaks, particularly for frameless doors. Clean the tracks to prevent the door from sticking.

There are several glass treatment options out there that can make it easier to keep your glass shower door clean. Treatments can help keep soap scum, corrosion, and pesky little fingerprints at bay. You might pay as much as a 30% upcharge on the price of your glass shower door to add a protective coating.

Even with a protective coating, you have to clean your shower. If you are diligent about wiping down shower walls after use and giving the glass a more thorough cleaning every week, you can likely save money and skip the added glass treatment.

If your shower endures heavy use from multiple family members and guests, a protective coating can make it easier to keep the glass spotless.
