"The flooring installed over two years ago had developed a few separations at some plank ends. I talked to Carlos and he arranged for Armstrong ( the manufacturer) to check the floor for defects. Their tech inspected the floor and found no material defect, at which point Carlos sent a technician to repair the floor. I had originally offered to pay for the repair since the floor was well over two years old and past the “My Floor” warranty, but they declined charging anything. The only things that kept me from giving a 5 star rating are (1) the types of installation was never discussed with me (and I didn’t know at the time there was more than one option, so be sure to ask about this) and (2) after doing about 2/3 of the flooring I noticed that the installers laid the hardwood planks on top of the vinyl instead of pulling the vinyl up (not sure if this is normal)."
