Throughout the project they allocated sufficient time for each treatment to cure and inspected the work before proceeding to the next step. Grady started the project with no money down and only required ongoing payments for materials until the project was well underway. The final payment was due only after they did a final inspection. Total project cost was also below other bids."

He thought of ideas to get it out take feet off of couch, take the bed out of couch Etc. I had just had the room painted and new wood floors put in. He did not get one mark on floor or walls. "In response to my initial email inquiry, Eric, the owner, came to the house and we discussed all of the issues and how they would deal with them. He took measurements and pictures and was very professional, polite and encouraging. Within a few days he emailed me a very precise and detailed proposal outlining all three jobs and the estimated cost. I immediately accepted. Adam came to the house and took some more measurements and pictures and said the work would begin the following week and take three days. The required permits were taken care of right away. As scheduled, Paul (the onsite foreman), Lloyd and TJ showed up and began to work. Braces were installed against the basement wall after the cracks were repaired. On the exterior a French drain was put in along the side of the house extending to the ditch out front. The old walkout was excavated and a new permentry door was installed. The work went as planned with no problems and was finished in three days. All debris was taken care of and they cleaned up when they were through. All of my questions and concerns were answered. Adam followed up the day after the work was completed to see if I was satisfied and to answer any additional questions. I also must give kudos to Cynthia, the office manager, who made the paperwork and payment process smooth and effortless. The quality of the work and the quality of the employees is just exceptional.

"I was concerned about the cracks on two patios and a set of steps. Figuring I needed them lifted and resurfaced. Jim came out conducted a full inspection and told me the honest truth that I could spend the money to have them come in and do the work, but this really was something that was more suited for a DIY situation as long as I felt comfortable with some basic tools and abilities. If I got in over my head they would certainly come and fix everything but for the time being and the cost of materials, this was something I could handle. I can't express how refreshing it was to have someone honest come into my home and not treat me like an idiot and take advantage of a situation. HONEST!!!"

"We did not go with them, because what he was going to charge us for refinishing the floor I did myself for a fraction of the cost. What they primarily do is they do a lot of commercial properties, so he had a few examples for us of floors that he did at SMUSA and he actually told us to go check them out. He had done three different glosses or finishes and so what we were looking to do in our basement it was not really what we wanted, so that was the big thing. It was kind of tough to get him to come out because what he said on the phone was primarily what he does is commercial. He was very informative and answered all of the questions. He gave us examples of what to go look at. He was very helpful. I think their price was fair. Their price for the actual finishing was good, knowing what I had to go through to strip the floor to do that. What I mean is, it was a good price but just not what we wanted. The estimate and the amount of time he spent there, and the information he was able to give us was extremely helpful."

Finding someone who was willing to work on a small repair to the cupola of my steep roof was proving to be a challenge until I found Chris Marshall on Angie's List. When I contacted Chris he came to my home the very same day to give me a firm estimate so that I could budget for this repair before winter. His estimate was fair and complete. He was very friendly and personable but what impressed me most was how thorough he was in explaining how he would repair the cupola. His detailed explanation made me feel confident I would not have to make more repairs for years to come. Chris was very prompt about answering my questions and returning my calls to schedule the project. Chris understood the urgency of repairing this portion of my roof before winter weather arrived. On the first sunny day that I had room my schedule, he arrived promptly at 3 p.m. as we agreed because I wanted to be here while he worked. I was impressed with how efficiently he completed this project. Within an hour and 20 minutes Chris and his helper we're able to remove the existing shingles, nails and debris from the cupola. He installed new ice and water shield barrier and new architectural shingles and finished it off with ridge caps and replaced my original weather vane. More importantly every piece of debris was removed and picked up so I didn't have to clean up nails or broken shingles. I could not believe how carefully and quickly they worked as a team to get this job done. I am so relieved that this part of my roof is repaired. I have programmed his number in my phone for any of my home contracting needs. And he will be the first contractor I call for any future jobs that I have. I would not hesitate to refer him to any of my family or friends. His prices are fair. He is trustworthy. He is efficient and thorough.
