Get matched with top foundation drainage installers and replacers in Morganza, MD

"They did an excellent job of waterproofing our foundation, burying downspouts, and replacing a patio to guarantee drainage away from the house. Most of our interaction was with the crew foreman. He spoke good English, showed attention to detail, and did a careful, professional job even when the weather got so hot we found ourselves urging the crew to take more breaks. They were not the cheapest bid, but worth it for the skilled workmanship. This is the second project we have hired them to do, and I would recommend them for any work where drainage is important."

"Excellent job all around. The work was done in late March, 2019, but I waited to post this review until after a heavy rainstorm. The storm of July 8, 2019 (>4"/hr) would normally have caused water to seep up through the concrete floor. After the storm, there was not even a drop. The sump was dry. The job was messy: jackhammers and lots of dust. They left it clean. One cannot even see where they cut the lawn to get the pipe to the curb. My only critique is that the new concrete poured to replace the broken floor should have been completely leveled. From initial estimate to installation, excellent work."

"It went well and I no longer have to worry about a water leakage during a heavy rainstorm or snow melting. The work crew was on time each day and made every effort to keep the dust from entering the upstairs. They were very considerate and seemed to enjoy working together. They took pride in doing the job well and informed me of any changes necessary and asked permission to make modifications with my approval."

"I had a great experience with Best Buy waterproofing. I contacted them for inspection due to water rising underneath my tile in the basement. They responded very quickly and had someone out for the inspection a day later. Ed completed my inspection and was very informative and communicative throughout the whole process. He didnâ t try to scare me into getting any services and was very patient with me. Any questions I had he was on it and available. When I made my final decision it was quick and a painless process. The crew cleaned up well and walked me through the work they had done. They installed a new drain and sump pump. Might I add they made my installation very esthetic by placing the line in the wall to hide the pipes when the dry wall is replaced. I will definitely recommend to friends and family!"

"Always Waterproofing did excellent work from quoting the job to making sure I was satisfied with the end result. Their communication is very good. Make sure you understand grading and if topsoil will be needed to transition any areas if new concrete is being installed."

"After almost a year of moving into our new home, we experienced our worst nightmare. Our not one but two basement levels had visible signs of water penetration from the previous homeowner's negligence. A record year of rainfall along with improper grading of the home helped unmask many issues to the surface we never thought about when we first bought the home. It was a very hopeless feeling to experience and go through. My husband and I did our due diligence on waterproofing and foundation repair and interviewed about 20 contractors who specialize in this field. Upon meeting Mr. Steven Starkey from S&S Waterproofing and Foundation Repair, we knew we found the right guy to correctly fix the water problems at our home. Mr. Starkey was always very prompt with the many questions we had for him and always had the right answer back for us, which made us feel very comfortable hiring him and clearly separated himself from the rest of his competition. In the end, Mr. Starkey and his crew performed a complex hand digging excavation around 3/4 of the outside of our home. This included jackhammering and repairing in the carport area of our home as well. They did this during the hottest time of the year, the end of June - mid August. Mr. Starkey's crew was very professional and hardworking; they always came on time, never took shortcuts in the six weeks from start to finish on the project. His foreman running the project, Sturado was very knowledgable and closely monitored the job. It made us feel very comfortable having him there overseeing the job along with Mr. Starkey who usually came by everyday as well to check on things. Mr. Starkey's crew of six hand dug everything on the outside, which was quite complex because of the two different level basements. They properly sealed the outside cracks and removed most of the marine clay which was creating pressure on our home. His team relocated the sump pump inside our home to a better strategic area and also made another outside sump pump to collect the water around our home and carry it away. It has been about a half year past the project completion and we had not had any signs of water penetration inside our home, even with quite a bit of rainfall afterwards. We feel very confident in the work Mr. Starkey's company performed (guarantee's his work, lifetime transferable warranty). He has checked back with us after the project was completed to see how things were and has offered to come back if we had any questions or problems which is reassuring. It's rare to find a company like S&S Foundation and Waterproofing who truly stands behind their work and take pride in their reputation. If you want a great waterproofing and foundation company we would recommend S&S Waterproofing and Foundation anyday; Mr. Starkey's company was one of the best contractors in any field that we have ever hired since owning a home, dating back to 2012."

"Steve Norfolk and his crew dug down to the footing and applied the waterproof material a section at a time.  The original plan was to dig the entire area first and then apply the waterproof material all at the same time.  However daily torrential rains turned the area into a sea of mud, so he decided to do it a section at a time to minimize problems associated with the rain.  He had to break up a concrete slab (porch) for 1/2 the front, and approximately 25 feet of driveway next to the house.  Progress was slow due to the rain and mud, but Steve steadfastly pursued the completion of the job despite the setbacks.  Although justifiably discouraged by the rain and lack of progress, he exhibited a positive "can do" attitude and kept at it.  The finished product was professionally done.  Backfill and all concrete were properly completed, and grass seed applied.  Steve is a conscientious professional who knows his business and can be relied upon to do the work he says he will accomplish.  I would use him again in a heartbeat.

"We are very pleased with the excellent results of the installation of the custom-built Grate Drain™ basement drainage system by Floodbusters. The entire team at Floodbusters is courteous, professional, and responsive. We had many concerns and apprehensions about this project because it had to be done in a finished basement area. Mark, who first surveyed the situation, carefully inspected the area and was able to determine the exact location and extent of the drainage and pump system required to limit any unnecessary demolition. He also took the time to answer our many questions and provided material specs and video so that I knew exactly what this project entailed. Craig was able to schedule our project within our timeframe of availability and stuck to it! Charles and Dwayne arrived as scheduled and worked steadily and efficiently. Even the boss came on site to give a hand hauling debris. The team took care to protect and clean surrounding surfaces as they worked. The project was completed on time as promised. We highly recommend Floodbusters for any of your basement waterproofing needs. Their responsiveness, timeliness, and attention to detail in workmanship will give you the confidence in a company that is reliable, trustworthy, and true to its mission in producing a high quality of service."
