"This was an unexpected expense (we weren't planning on doing a bathroom remodel) in our current renovation, and we had to do it on short notice.  Paul came in and met with us, gave us an honest reading of what we could expect, the cost, what his guys would do, etc.  He came in at least twice, if not more (on a four-day project) to check on the progress and ensure we were happy with the results.  He worked with The Tile Shop (where we got our tile) to order additional supplies and at the end of the job we were left with minimal overage.  The finished bath is spectacular! They did an outstanding, quality job.  The grouting and tiling is seamless and even.  They even fixed a bowed wall in the bath that was not part of the project and didn't have any effect on the tiling, but they did it because it looked better.  On top of that, it had been freshly painted, and they repainted it.   Our house was kept clean, they worked non-stop from 7:30AM to at least 5:30 at night, every night, with only a small break for lunch.  And Paul, very helpfully, was able to arrange for these guys to come in to do the work on very short notice to help us out.  The cost - while higher than we had initially expected - was less than other estimates and was well-worth it given the quality of the work and their ability to get this done within a short time frame.  I would not hesitate to recommend this company and will use them again in the future for any other tile work!

"Marks-Woods Construction just finished a multi-part project on our home including a full kitchen remodel, adding a full bath and storage area to our basement, a mudroom addition and a portico. The design process at the beginning helped to expand on our initial ideas and Danielle was great at offering suggestions that we never would have thought of. Due to a minor water leak a section of drywall about 8' x 2' had been cut out. The trim in this area and on the other side of the hall plus a closet had to be placed as well. The drywall and trim had been removed due to a small amount of mold from the water leak.  I called George's painting due to all the great reviews here on Angie's list.  I received an estimate on this work and in addition I asked for an estimate on some painting.  I thought the estimate was very fair. George was extremely professional and even came to look at what the job entailed late on a Friday evening as he was returning from other jobs on his way back to his office. This was absolutely fine with me as I had no plans to go anywhere.  George sent my estimate first thing Monday morning.

In the end I used George's only for the drywall and trim work. The job was easily scheduled and the 2 man crew did an outstanding job. I couldn't even tell there had been any damage. The trim work was outstanding as well with nice miter cuts. It lined up well with the existing molding where the miter cuts met.  It only took them approximately 4 hours to do the job.  I plan to call George's in the future for outside painting of my house.

"They came right out and gave a reasonable estimate. The two guys that came out to do thw work arrived on time, polished the marble and cleaned up afterwards. I noticed a streaky area after they left, so I called them and they turned around and came right back and re-did that section and did a great job."

Every detail matters, materials, colors, size, position, everything can make a client feel unhappy or dissatisfied. Rafi and his crew were very professional and responsive during the entire process and did their best to make sure we got exactly what we wanted. You still have to check progress every day to catch any little deviations before they become big things, and once again I praise Rafi and crew for their quick responses to all of our questions, concerns and reasonable requests for changes.
