The door was no longer functional and outdated. They had a custom door made to perfectly fit the existing build out. The new installation was a two door single motion exit door with windows. "This is a father and son team of extremely knowledgeable and skilled woodworkers.    They were so flexible that they actually rearranged other clients to help me get doors installed in time for a graduation party.   They bring all their own equipment and have more woodworking equipment at their shop.  They took one of the large posts back to their shop to split because it required a specialized saw.  It was a 2 day project.   Everything was installed and looks seamless and professional.   The son also knows a lot about granite, so that was helpful when making decisions about what legs and braces to put on the granite.   On top of great work at a great price, these two are just really nice people.    I would hire them for any remodel or new construction project large or small.

"When I posted the job request on Angie’s List, Shawn (the owner of the company) responded within minutes The other companies, the BIG GARAGE DOOR COMPANIES didn’t bother responding, -at all. My experience with these BIG companies over the years has been that they act like they are doing you a favor, setting up an appointment and showing up. They don’t need your business. Shawn, arrived on time, inspected our 22 year old garage door opener and clearly explained our options. As I expected, it didn’t make sense to repair the old garage door opener. We installed a new garage door opener and it has worked flawlessly since installed. I am pleasantly surprised at how smooth and quiet my new garage door opener is. Also, the additional lighting it provides in my garage nicely lights up the area where my tools and work area is."

"Great! His workers are friendly and hard working. They were short staffed that week, so the job took longer, but it didn't effect the price much. I was concerned that working 10 hours in the heat, no one is at peak efficiency or performance, and I think that made the price (based on hours worked) a little higher that it would have been if all the scheduled staff was there. "Extremely well! I used Jason Griggs and his small but scrappy crew to repaint the interior of a home I sold just prior to purchasing this new home. They did a tremendous job for me then, at a reasonable price, so I enlisted them for this larger, more difficult job. There was wallpaper to be removed and painted over, numerous drywall repairs, caulking, and generally a lot of prep work before the actual painting could begin. They also had to work in two different phases -- prep and paint the rooms that were not being remodeled, and wait for a couple months while other rooms were being remodeled, then come back and prep and paint those rooms. All in all, this spanned a period from October to January. They did their usual outstanding job! I am so happy I was able to secure their services again. Jason is a former engineer who pays keen attention to detail. He really takes pride in doing a high quality, thorough job and will do whatever it takes to walk away with a satisfied customer. He has a great customer service attitude and often agrees when you point a blemish out, saying they will quickly take care of it. He and his crews are very trustworthy. They earned my trust on my first job at the old house -- I let them come and go as they needed, while I was away at work. Same in this case; I allowed them full rein of the house, and did not do anything special to put things away. They really are that trustworthy! It's nice when you feel that trust with a service provider. They do quality work, aren't happy unless you're happy, will do whatever it takes to make you happy, treats your home and belongings with respect, and makes you feel like you're the customer and you come first! I cannot recommend them enough. If I were you and need some painting done, I'd call The Griggs Company. I know I will contact them for all my painting needs in the future."
