"We are very satisfied with the work that Mid-Valley Chimney Repair & Sweeps performed on our chimney during the week of July 23-27, 2018. Matt (T) and Billy set up, cleaned chimney and removed old mortar. Matt did an outstanding job with the re tuck point and cement crown . We commend him on his attention to detail. Howard and Seth cleaned chimney and applied sealer. They also removed scaffolding and cleaned surrounding areas. Seth took the time to remove debris from plants in front of chimney. All members of the team were professional and answered all of our questions. They were very personable and it was a pleasure to do business with everyone beginning with Matthew Simpson who did the initial inspection and gave us the estimate. We highly recommend this company and plan to call on them again."

I came across this business through Angie's List. Actually, hired them for a chimney inspection where they identified problem areas from the roof and repaired them immediately. How did I know to initially trust them? They take photos and review them with me, giving complete and easy to understand explanations. And then again with a follow-up call! Your home is your refuge, right? With mine, each time it would rain I would fear leaks. But for the past 10 years when the storms hit in the middle of the night, I sleep well knowing that my roof is properly maintained. Yes, once in a while I will do an interior inspection but rejoice when all is well! I cannot thank the folks at Arco Remodeling enough for giving me peace of mind! "Every thing was subcontracted. After finally starting 2 weeks after promised date, it took another 2 weeks to get the majority of the work done. It took an extra three weeks to get them to finish the job.  About two years later I shot blown insulation in my attic and found the five added roof vents they "installed" were nailed onto the roof without cutting the required hole to let it vent! "Before converting a wood-burning fireplace to a gas log, we called Vonderhaar to inspect and sweep the chimney. We wanted to ensure the chimney was clean and nothing was living in it before converting to gas log. I called Vonderhaar and scheduled an appointment the same week we called. We had called other companies and they were scheduling further out, at higher estimates. Chris was the employee who came for the job. He inspected the chimney (from the roof and looking up into it from the fireplace), found nothing living in it, and confirmed it was clean. He told us he could sweep the chimney though doing so was unnecessary since it was clean. He gave us some asked-for advice about the new gas log insert and the chimney cap. The cost was lower than the original estimate because our chimney didn't require cleaning."
