"It went great. Andy was able to start quickly and fit us in. He installed drywall, soffit and flooring as well as doing some Painting for us. Would recommend him to anyone and hire him again if we have any future home remodel or handyman services."

"Spoke with Wes about potential project, and our special interest in retractable walls. He was very straight-forward and clear about things that go into overall cost of sunroom (size, height, type of glass, doors, windows, glass to floor or pony wall, all walls plus roof of glass, or part traditional materials) plus 2-3'footers under all walls of the structure, and addition by HVAC for heat and dehumidification. Their sunrooms are efficient enough to take down an exterior wall of the house, and have the sunroom serve as the exterior wall. Others that have low energy efficiency by WA laws must maintain a door between house and sunroom. Ballpark estimate was provided and noted that a crane may be required to life beams in place. Global Solariums in Vancouver, WA manufactures the sunrooms, and Wes speaks highly of the engineer that reviews the design plans. I was very impressed with his clarity and concern that I have a good understanding of likely cost and why. We agreed that I would contact him if and when we are ready for a site visit, which we will do if we decide to proceed. At this point, the cost is too high for us to proceed. (ballpark est. $100K-with 76K for sunroom at past year's average cost per square foot of roughly 170/sf ($120/sf and higher than $170/sf which again varies by the list provided), plus 24K for HVAC and concrete. I love when information is provided without high pressure or manipulation, It shows respect for the customer, and it speaks to the integrity and honesty you can expect when the job is getting done."

"If you have a project you will not go wrong with this team. Working with them, we learned and gained so much more than we expected. They made an intimidating project achievable, exciting, totally enjoyable, and we couldn’t be happier with the final outcome. It was a beautiful design that was budget sensitive while being transformational to our house. We will always recommend them and they will definitely be our first call for our next project."

"<p>The installers showed up when they said they would and set about work immediately. The work was done in a professional and very precise manner. The installers ran into a problem which they stayed with until the problem was satisfactorily resolved.</p> <p>We were most impressed with the work of this company and the installers. </p> <p>Would gladly hire them again. Strongly Recommended!</p> <br />"

"I was a little nervous about ordering windows on the internet using measurements I'd taken myself, but I loved the design on the website so, initially I only ordered 2 windows to check the quality, my ability to measure accurately and the company's ability to build to my measurements. Jeff, the salesman I dealt with was attentive without being overwhelming and the first order was delivered in about 4 weeks. The windows were exactly what I was looking for and fitting them was a breeze. I followed up with another order for the remaining 13 windows in my porch and again, they arrived quickly, were of great quality, exactly to size and easy to fit. Looking forward to see how they last their first winter."

"The project was essentially a remodel of a circa 1950's beach cabin with a small addition. We chose Baker and Son on the recommendation of our neighbor who had used them to build a detached garage. Our plans were relatively simple at first: build the addition, expand the kitchen, build a new bathroom and create a new entry. As work was underway, it became clear through the advice of Baker and Son that our kitchen was too big and out of scale for the cabin. We ended up eliminating some walls and opening up the cabin in such a way that created one large room but still a separate kitchen, dining and living. It was a huge improvement to the original design. In addition to the interior work, Baker and Son completely overhauled the exterior which included new windows and siding. New structural headers were required because they didn't exist. Also, since the cabin is post and pier construction, they leveled and strengthen the existing structure. Work included new skirting as well. Their attention to detail was very impressive. They are masters at creative problem solving, patient, responsive and positive. They have a very strong sense of design. We were never pressured into quick decisions. The contract arrangement for our project was essentially time and material because formulating a bid on an old cabin remodel would involve too many unknowns. We agreed to a fair hourly rate and all material and subcontracted work we paid directly with no additional overhead or fee. This saved us money. Since we lived out of town, Baker and Son were so well connected with various vendors and subcontractors, it simplified making arrangements. Now that our project is complete, we are so excited about the end result! We would highly recommend using Baker and Son Construction for any project."

"Taylor kept in contact during my shopping getting quotes from four roofers. I got estimates from Roof Doctor , A-1 Roofing , John Easter Roofing and Zepp Construction. Zepp Construction was in the middle of the price range. So I went with somebody local who would spend his earnings in Grays Harbor. I left everything to Taylor and he handled every detail in a professional manner. He was prompt and very clear on his objective. He wanted to install ridge vents and zinc strips on the garage, were as no one else even mentioned it. <br>1st day of construction was a tear off (3-guys) and they had all the plywood with 1/2 the roofing done in the 1st day. The second day Taylor finished the job by himself and had the job done by 2pm. The whole job took 16 hours, that is slamming in my book. <br>The quality was above expectations and the finish looks like it was done by somebody with 30 or more years experience. I say this because Taylor is one of the most impressive young men I have met in a very long time. At only 25-years of age this young man has tons of skill and a huge future. <br>Thanks <br>Zepp Construction , I look forward to more future projects. <br> <br> <br>"
