"While I did not hire this company ultimately, I remained very impressed that they came to the site fully prepared (they did a ton of research on my property) and were ready to go day one had we chosen to go with them. In the end, we only decided to go with another contractor due to their existing familiarity with the current neighborhood we were in however, Empirevue are a top notch professional company judging by our initial interaction and I will be reaching out to them again for our other projects "

"This contractor is from Dixie WA.  I had a difficult time getting contractors in the Tri-Cities to return my call or had problems with bids being too expensive.  Ben's Roofing & Custom Gutters has been in business for 25 years & has an excellent rating with the Better Business Bureau. I highly recommend anyone who is looking for gutters consider hiring Ben's Roofing & Custom Gutters.  They are competent, reasonably priced, and honest!"

"Well, it was fun as well as giving me just what I wanted for my house.....more light, more privacy, and aesthetics. The nice thing about Tim, aside from the fact that he's a nice person and very intelligent, and gifted in his field, is that he listens and makes you part of the process. I felt totally at ease and secure giving him keys to my house for work that was done when I wasn't there. My house maintains it's old feel (he blended the new with the old) as well as contributing to making it an even more beautiful house."

"Trickett Woodworks built us an awesome built-in bookcase and cabinets for our living room which are good quality and made the room much nicer and more functional. Trickett was really responsive to all my questions via phone calls and emails, and we actually got lucky with scheduling and had the project installed a couple weeks earlier than expected. I would definitely hire them again for any other carpentry/furniture projects."

"He has done a lot of work for me over the past couple years. He takes an idea and makes it work. He is very creative and interactive. He will do his best to make it look the way you want it to look. Also he is very good about getting the permits for the work. He is straightforward about his charge too. He charges an hourly rate. He leaves his work site completely clean at the end of the day. He is careful around the furniture and makes sure nothing is left a mess. He is very interesting and knowledgeable."

FAQs for major home repair (general contractor) projects in Moses Lake, WA

In many cases, it’s much less expensive to convert a bus than to buy an RV, especially if you’re considering a newer RV model, which can exceed $100,000.

Another huge benefit of school bus conversion is that you are in control of the renovation project. You get to pick your camper's new layout and all the appliances and furniture.

While school buses can easily cost $300,000 when they're new, you can often find used buses for just a few thousand dollars. These vehicles experience extreme depreciation due to government regulations; they can only be used for so long before they must be replaced. Due to those same regulations, other government agencies cannot purchase them for their own uses, so the consumer market is the only place they can go.

The length of time it takes to convert a bus depends on the scope of the project (and size of the bus), how much work is DIY vs. done by a professional contractor, and how much work you’re doing up front.

In general, expect at least a couple of months for a conversion, but larger conversions could take six months to a year. Remember: You can tackle projects as you go: Get the basic work done so that it’s livable, and then continue to enhance your living space over time.
