"The only model thermostat they offered was high priced ( $350 plus installation or $453 total), High tech, WiFi link to smartphone, programmable. I told him I wanted a simpler model and was told the only other option was more complicated and more expensive and that "this is how thermostats are now". I told him I was upset, but had no other options. I now know this was 'extortion' , since other simpler models are still available and would have been better suited to this senior citizen. A furnace cleaning the same month prompted a list of things I should buy despite the furnace passing it's tests.....be prepared for a sales pitch. They did come promptly and were polite. I will not hire them again."

"I noticed that they had so many great reviews. I called them at 7:00 AM on a Monday morning and they told me that they could not send me a technician until Wednesday since they were very busy. I told them that I was desperate since the water main pipe was leaking pretty bad in my basement the whole weekend. So I scheduled an appointment for the earliest availability which was Wednesday. One hour later they called me back telling me that they had a recent cancellation and could get a technician to my house immediately. I was so happy. Scott Lord was the technician and he was so wonderful. He is very experienced and was so courteous with me. He did all the needed repairs in 2 hours. I was very impressed with the work that he did. I will always use Weld & Sons Plumbing from now on. Also I will recommend them to all my friends or neighbors when they ask me for a good plumbing company. They offer wonderful customer service."
