"The representative from Modern Plumbing took pictures, explained possible sources and how to figure out the source from use. Once the source was found, described the repair and had it done in 20 minutes with a minimum of fuss. Very impressed with the detailed explanation throughout this issue. FYI, this was done via my Home Warranty, so the cost is not indicative of the actual charges."

"Outlets and switches replaced. Ceiling fan installed"

"Tom responded quickly, and worked diligently to dry out the water and prevent long term damage. He was through and worked hard to ensure that the area dried out completely."

"Everything went great. Mr. Nelson is was very precise with all of the work he did. He worked hard at getting us the best prices for what he installed and his labor cost was very fair. We will always choose him to do any of our home repairs"

Based on the favorable reviews of other members, I called three providers at noon. Unlike the other two, owner Scott Martin returned my call within 20 minutes even, as I learned later, he was away on vacation. I explained my heater had burst and needed quick replacement. I brought up the possibility of installing a tankless heater. He asked about my household make-up and usage, and advised the extra expense would not be cost-effective. He is a Rennai Tankless dealer/installer! He said he might be able to get a technician available in 2 hours and would call me right back. He did, and we arranged for a 4 pm installation.

His tech, Michael called 15 minutes beforehand reporting a traffic delay and he arrived soon after 4. He was very professional and, working alone,  completed the removal and replacement by 7. He checked the connections, discovered a small leak, and fixed that. We had hot water that evening. Scott did not charge extra for an emergency call that ran over into the evening; and, he applied an additional discount for my having found him through Angie's List!

The next day I discovered another small leak, called Scott and Michael was there and had it fixed by 1 pm.

I can't thank Scott and Michael enough for their responsiveness and professionalism. THAT'S how to run...and grow... a business!

"They came here on time. Checked evap coil condition, drain pan, float switches, blower motor, and cleaned drain line. Since the unit is 14 years old, they recommend us not wasting money to do repair, but consider to replace the unit, an honest suggestion.

"Great customer service and were very thorough about their work. Will hire for any of my relative needs again!"

"The entire trim had to be removed and replaced.  While this sounds simple the workers had to install a roof jack type scaffold due to the angle of the roof.   The trim was removed, replaced, sealed and painted.  The workers were very thorough and cleaned up as if they were never there.

"I hired Skippers & Rogers to go over a horrible paint job that was previously done by another company. My only regret is that I didn’t hire them sooner. They did a great job on my living room & kitchen walls. It feels like a brand new home. I definitely will be using them in the future."

"I needed to repair the sub floor under a leaking water heater and was short on time. Tom responded right away and finished the repair 2 days after I called. When I need more work done I'll be calling him."
