"They started doing my lawn. I think this is the second treatment. What has been happening is around my house the grass is dying. He took care of it this time, he said The price is good and they call you and figure out what's going on. They really try. They talk to you. I am going to wait and see what happens with the grass around the house. The grass itself looks beautiful. He said that there isn't shade on that side of the house, that is not their fault. When I first called them, the man was very good and his price is better than most people. They responded very quickly. The man was very nice and very kind. They call you before they come out. If you tell them you don't want them to do it, they won't do it. It is just very good. When I was looking for someone else to treat my lawn, this man came out first, before anyone else. He gave me the whole run down of the company. There was no waiting time and the price was good. He was quick to answer. He was able to stop, talk and explain what was going on. They just come in and do the work. They have been very good. They call me before the come. Last time when they called and said they were coming. I listened for them to drive in from the North side. I don't know which side. He came out and looked at it. He talked to me. He was telling me what he was going to do. He said I might have to put some rocks down there because apparently it is not getting any sunshine on that side or whatever. That is the last thing that he did. Was stop, talk and explain."

"The results exceeded my expectations. The company was EXTREMELY responsive through all phases of the project (estimation, scheduling, work, followup). My job was supervised by a site manager who kept me informed at all times. During each progress review, the site manager ensured that I was satisfied with the work and he was willing to redo whatever I was unhappy with. Given that the weed removal services are based on an hourly rate per worker, the site manager alerted me whenever the team was on breaks or at lunch. Speaking of the team, its members were constantly, and I do me constantly, working. There was ZERO evidence of anyone, including the site manager ever slacking off at any time. I really feel that the team earned every penny of their rate. The same applied to the application of mulch. The entire team worked hard and without delay. Regarding the actual job, it consisted of the clearing of weeds and ivy from several large beds. The team removed all weeds, including the ivy by hand. The ivy was removed, as promised, by the root. Note that the ivy had been growing for more than 20 years and so was extensive. They also spread a 4-inch deep layer of mulch on all cleared beds. This required 72 cubic yards (1,944 square feet) of mulch. I am extremely pleased with the work performed by everyone at 4th Generation and highly recommend their services. If you want the job done right the first time, I strongly urge you to consider 4th Generation. I have attached pictures of the before and after views of one bed that 4th Generation rehabilitated. I have also attached a picture of one other area that was cleaned up by their team. It is representative of the entire job."

"I contacted Nick @ Intrinity Landscaping who within a day came out to assess our yard and provide a quote. This was a new home and our yard consisted of mostly clay soil. Nick explained the process that he and his team goes through with the sod installation. Nick provided me with an estimate & I immediately took to the web to check his Angie's List & NC BBB ratings. All were positive & upon evaluating the prep work he does to the yard & the price-per-square-foot he quoted I hired Nick for the job. I couldn't be happier with Nick & his team. It was mid-August & Nick suggested that if we could we should wait until early fall to install the sod in order to avoid the late summer heat that would give our grass the best chance to grow. We agreed to wait until mid-September. As I mentioned earlier this was a new home & we were trying to get our Certificate of Occupancy so we could move in. Nick took it upon himself to spread straw on our lawn to satisfy our CO requirements so we could move in.
Nick & his crew began prepping our yard the second week of September. I was amazed by the care his crew took to get the dirt at the grade levels and 'stitching' the pallets of sod together so it all looks uniform. It took about three days to get everything done. One of those days his crew literally worked from dawn to dusk to get our backyard done. Upon completion Nick said we would need to water our yard twice a day, everyday for two weeks to get the grass to take to the soil. He finished on a Friday so the first time our inground irrigation system would run would be that Saturday. The irrigation crew, not part of Intrinity, assured me the system was ready to run. That next day some of the sprinkler heads weren't popping up the way they should and one of the heads had completely broken off leaving water gushing into the street. I couldn't get a hold of the irrigation folks but I tried Nick and he came by within the hour on Saturday. He did what he could but it meant a lot to me that he came out on a Saturday to try to address a problem that wasn't his. I've found Nick to be both honest & fair throughout the process. I don't think you'll find a better price for the quality and attention to detail that Nick & his crew observe when installing sod in your yard. Highly recommended!!

"I was amazed at the work they performed. I contacted Ryan to explain about my old house that had a very sooty and mossy brick chimney...not to mention a very dirty brick patio. I was worried that the old grout in my brick would be damaged by pressure washing, Ryan assured me that they would be very gentle...by first treating problem areas, scrubbing if needed and then rinsing with gentle pressure. He said they could also clean the wooden part of my house and deck. They cleaned the wooden areas and did not damage any old paint. They did an outstanding job...above and beyond my expectations. The crew was very punctual and polite...they completed the job in the promised time frame. I will definitely hire Excel Pro Services for other work.
