"They were always very responsive and flexible, and were here and working every single day for the entire lengthy job. That's almost unheard of. It was easy to make changes and to discuss things with both the on-site foreman and the owner. Everything was handled professionally. On some days they voluntarily stayed late to finish whatever they were working on. They always hung huge "room dividing" plastic sheets when they were doing dusty things like removing bathroom tile or significant wallboard work. Whenever there were problems, and there were few, they were taken care of quickly. Whenever something came up, such as when I realized 4 of the toilets they installed that I had chosen based on a magazine review performed terribly, they had no problem taking them out and installing a different model of my choice without delay. Another thing they did that's rare is after all the work was done and paid for, the continued to respond to questions and requests for minor tweaks or changes quickly. They disposed of trash and whatever else without ever being asked. I can't say enough about the quality of this company. The only possible "negative" was the price. Though not unreasonable, it was certainly not low. Like with any contractor, if you add more things for them to do the price goes up. You get what you pay for. "We needed help with several projects around our home so we purchased the 8-hour package to have Mr. Jario Aquilar of JA Renovations & Home Improvement take care of the projects for us. We wanted to have a gate constructed at the top of the deck stairs and a few other things. When he arrived, right on time, we went over the plans for the gate and also reviewed other things we wanted to have done inside and outside our home. Jairo was very pleasant and professional, he was very thorough and finished the job as promised plus took care of a couple task that came up at the last minute, he even took care of hanging a piece of artwork that we had been unable to hang. He did a great job; the deck gate is in place and looks great. In addition to the gate, he also worked on the deck stairs that were in need of some attention. The parts he replaced make the stairs feel very strong and sound. The door from our kitchen to the pantry needed to be repaired because it had started to come loose from the door frame. Mr. Jario Aquilar of JA Renovations & Home Improvement has proven to be a valuable source of knowledge and skill for taking care of many tasks around the house.
