Get matched with top addition to existing structure builders in Mount Vernon, NY

"Anton did a very nice job cleaning and staining our log home. It had been neglected by the previous owner and needed a lot of work. He also replaced rotted siding on our barn, fixed some significant structural defects and stained it. A nice job and finished in a timely fashion. Anton was here supervising the job all the time. Would definitely hire again"

"Hiring a contractor can be challenging. Let me simplify the process for you. Hire Above & Beyond Contracting for your next home project. Bud and his team just renovated our basement and we couldn’t be more satisfied with the experience. They turned our cold, dark basement into a bright entertainment room with a sports bar. They brought our vision to life on schedule and on budget. Bud is extremely talented, knowledgeable and responds to text messages within minutes. When he tells you that he’ll be at your house by 8:00 AM, he’ll be there at 8:00 on the dot. He truly cares about the quality of his work and treats his projects as if they were being done within his own home. After spending 4 months working with him, Bud isn’t just our contractor for the next project…he’s a friend."

"Excellent. Dave Perrotta, Westbrook Contracting, LLC, was recommended to me by a friend. I am so happy I took her advice. Over the past two years, Dave and his crew have done a beautiful job completely renovating my kitchen and adding a small addition to the side of the house, which included a full bath and closet. The painting was excellent and not only did they paint the dining room, but they fixed the doors to my corner built-in hutch, so they actually close and stay shut. I have received many unsolicited compliments on both the inside and outside work and best of all, the house is just so much more comfortable to live in. I asked about putting a few clothes hooks in the small hallway for rainy day weather, and they built me a beautiful clothes rack, which gets so much use! The shower needed a glass door, something I had never purchased before. Dave not only suggested an excellent vendor, but assisted in the selection. Dave is very easy to work with and his crew is not only skilled but I am very comfortable with them in my home. In addition to his crew, I have been impressed with the quality of sub-contractors, vendors, etc., he used. In closing, my grade school neighbor said it best: "the new addition looks like it was always there"."

"I'm that person who has a general distrust of contractors due to a few truly terrible experiences. I blame myself for these bad experiences because I didn't vet the people I hired throughly enough. With the retaining wall bordering my driveway was collapsing and the driveway beginning to split, I knew this wasn't a project I could brush off, so I began an intense search for contractors. Using Angie, I found two contractors I liked for the job, but hired Hector Santucci because he presented a better plan for the restoration of that portion of the driveway that was going to be damaged while removing the old wall. Santucci Brothers has shown me there are good, professional, honest contractors out there, if you just take the time to find them. Hector Santucci and his crew were professional, polite and excellent at their jobs. These are some true craftsmen. Not only is my new wall massive, strong, built to last, but it's quite beautiful. In particular, while the mortar joints on the old wall, which was built by hacks, were three, sometimes as much as four inches wide, Hector's crew tightened everything up, fitting the stones together beautifully, even recessing the mortar on the face. When they were done, they cleaned everything up, power washed the driveway, and even planted new grass. Santucci Brothers stayed on estimate, stayed on schedule, and lived up to everything they had promised me. Communicating with them was easy and efficient."

"The work went exceptionally well. The work was professionally done and completed within the original estimates for time, cost and schedule. The work included repairing of plaster, painting of walls, floors and ceilings. Also a problem with existing shingles on the roof was repaired. Several good suggestions were made and used as to the materials to be used and how to best perform the work."

"Gustavo Lojano is a skilled carpenter and extremely knowledgeable in all areas of construction. He takes pride in his own work and expects the best from the other craftsmen on his team. He isn’t happy unless his customer is happy. He recently did a complete bathroom renovation for us. His suggestions made the finished product even better than we expected. Additionally, he corrected some work that had been done incorrectly in the past and would eventually have caused us problems. His prices are fair and well worth the money considering the quality of his work."

"If we could give more than five stars to Danny and Champion, we certainly would. We had used them previously for several jobs in our old house, but this time we had extensive renovations done to the kitchen in our new co-op as well as new floors and painting throughout our home. (Before and After photos below). We couldn't be happier with everything that was done. Champion's employees are true craftsmen and their work is impeccable. In addition, they are courteous, professional and perhaps most importantly, RELIABLE. If they say they will be there, they will be there. And when they leave at the end of the day, the work area is cleaner than it was when they arrived. We recommend Champion without hesitation for any home remodeling you many need, and I know when we are ready for our next project we will choose them again without hesitation."

"Inson worked with us on our home in the Hamptons and house in San Francisco. He brings an extraordinary combination of very high end style personalized for our tastes; access to special deals from the most elite and sought after designers; and a sense of working within the budget you have in mind. We were able to get museum quality pieces for both homes at unbelieveable discounts. Inson also continues to provide important follow up services as needed. For example, we had a fabric issue with our 40 outdoor chairs that developed after the warranty. The cost to change would have been tens of thousands of dollars but the manufacturer handle the out of warranty issue at no cost to us, which I believe was due to inson’s relationship and advocacy on our behalf. He’s terrific."

"LRL Designs drew the blueprint, designed my kitchen & 2 bathrooms and created a new entrance to my dining room, which created a much more open floor plan in my main floor. I love the way everything turned out and am very grateful for the professionalism and dedication from the designer. She was a pleasure to work with."

"I cant say enough positive things about Powers Performance Construction. They gave us the most honest quote, with full transparency as to what the materials costs - including receipts - and then were the kindest and most detailed oriented when it came to the work in our home. Client comes first for these guys. I had thought because it was a smaller job, they might not take it so seriously but these guys exceeded our expectation. 5 stars"
