"RIBA construction was recommended by one of my neighbors. I initially started with them by replacing my old cedar shake roof with new architectural asphalt shingle (32 squares) with three new skylights. From the very start, the sales and contract process with Ryan was open and honest. They genuinely wanted to get the right roof solution versus just making another sale. The communication through the process from the back-office with Jerry and Yolanda was also superb. The roof and skylights were ultimately installed and the RIBA Construction diligently followed through until all work was completed. As a result of this great experience, shortly thereafter I selected RIBA Construction to complete a number of other projects (all completed concurrently with diligent coordination): - Windows and Sliding Doors --> replaced forty (40) old wood windows with new vinyl casement windows - Siding --> replaced (20 squares) of engineered wood with new vinyl siding - Capping --> All windows, doors, and trim capped with aluminum and vinyl soffit vents - Gutters --> installed 300+ feet of new gutters and downspouts While no project goes perfectly, everyone at RIBA Construction really cares about doing the right thing and made everything the way it should be without hesitation. "Ran into a couple of PHR guys at a "home show". We have had an estimate from a few years back but other projects and covid got in the way. PHR sent out their sales rep, Matt, and he gave us a review of services and estimated the cost. Whole home reside, new soffits, new facsia, new gutters (upgraded to 5 inch). After almost 30 years...the siding was looking sad. Also, the way our house was built, you could hear neighbors dropping change in their driveway. The rep showed us the foam backed siding and we went with the 6 inch flat to change the look of our 4 inch home depot builder grade siding. CJ contacted us and came out with the final measurements. Re-calculated the estimate and came up with a $500 savings for us. cool. Two weeks later Gustavo showed up with his crew and started work taking off siding, putting up a moisture barrier and residing the house. I pointed out a couple of cables that I needed saved if possible and the old UHF antenna that could be removed. The crew worked from 7am to 6:30PM and spent another half hour cleaning up around the house. They did this 3 days straight and finished the siding, soffits and fascia by 6pm on the 3rd day. Everything looked AWESOME!!! A major upgrade for the house. The next day the gutter crew showed up and put seamless gutters up in a few hours and even added another downspout where the builder cheaped out and put only 1 down spout in the back of the house. The entire project took 4 days and the crews cleaned up everyday at the end of the day. We could not be happier with the results. We have gotten quite few positive comments from the neighbors. it looks like a brand new house! (on the outside at least :-) ) Some notes: Communication was constant, consistent throughout the process. Pricing, when you see the quality of the product they are putting up compared to the cheap builder grade they are taking off....you realize you get what you pay for. Sound! OMG! My house is quiet now!!!! I cannot hear every little thing that happens on the street or behind us. It is transformative!!! Professional....the crews were all business and worked all day. The trim work is very detailed and tight. They brought things to my attention that I had forgotten about , speakers in the soffits (forgot about them...but they are hooked back up now :-), ethernet cabling I ran to the second floor (wireless was not a thing in the 90's). Sales process: You will see a lot of negative comments about their sales motion, it is what it is. If you are just kicking tires with no intent to buy....it will be frustrating for you. But, if you are seriously looking to have work done, you appreciated the detail and time they take explaining the entire process. Financing: We qualified for a HUGE chunk of financing, in the end, we paid for the job upon completion and walk through. The interest rate was higher than I liked but if needed it was there. When we informed PHR we would be cutting a check, they canceled the financing immediately. No questions asked. I cannot say enough good things about our experience. I will admit, I was worried about how the project would go after reading some of these reviews and I am pleased it went very well. I would recommend PHR in heart beat."

"The roof was replaced in a day and the gutters the next. The crew was in and out and all the interactions we had were pleasant on professional. We have a sunsail and it required them to install some anchors by doing some custom work included in the cost of the new roof. Everything went mostly according to plan other than needing to shift schedule due to weather. I would recommend their services to anyone."

"The team at Exterior Medics did a fantastic job with our whole-house siding and gutter replacement. Not only were they the lowest estimate (by far) for replacing our siding with James Hardie fiber cement, but they also did amazing work. The salesman we dealt with was knowledgeable and prompt, the project manager we dealt with was communicative and upbeat, and the team who installed the siding worked tirelessly. The installation team came early and stayed late, they worked Saturdays to finish the project as quickly as possible, and the work they did is fantastic!"

"So please that I went with JW. The side entry porch had rotted wood throughout and the steps were sagging. Also, exterior house paint had been removed years ago but prior owners did not address one side of house, probably cause it was hidden behind crepe myrtles. Crepe myrtles are now gone and that wall is very visible on the street. Also there were some little jobs needed around the house such as replacing rotted boards above the garage. Got a quote from JW in late April and scheduled the work for the week of July 21 for 6-7 days of work. Two workers showed up promptly on the 21st and did a great job. Very pleased with the JW crew as they kept me posted on the progress throughout the job which was completed in six days. Wish I could post before and after pictures as it looks fantastic"

"I got my windows from them and the price was high but the process was painless, I figured why not I'll get gutters from them too. Sales guy came out and have me a quote, said the tentative install date was in a week but I'd get a call to confirm the day before. Well, I didn't. I called the company the day after, left a voicemail with the head of gutter installs (found out later that guy had left but no one updated the number). Call my sales rep. He says he'll figure it out and call me back. He does not. This was Friday so I give it the weekend, call back Tuesday and leave another voicemail. No luck. Thursday I call and get through to someone who says they are taking over for the guy whose phone I've been calling, promises to schedule the install next week and he'll call me back the next day with details. Big surprise, he does not. The next week I wait until Thursday before getting fed up. This time my boyfriend calls and they say they'll schedule someone two weeks later. Horay. A date. Well, guess what? That's today. I take off work. No workmen. 2pm I get a call from someone saying they are calling about my address for the install next week. Are you kidding me? They do not have their collective act together, cannot stick to a date, and are seemingly incapable of calling you back when you actually want them to. This is awful. At this point I have no faith I will get my gutters or just get jerked around another couple of weeks and told it'll be another month before someone can do the install. Rating a D because they did do well with the windows. So it seems they are very hit or miss and their different departments are run very inconsistently from what I can see. The crew did arrive and were very friendly and responsive. There was some unexpected damage but they were able to fix it and complete the install quickly. I'm happy with the professionalism of the install team. Additionally, the company did contact me and said they were reviewing their communication strategy to make sure this sort of thing doesn't happen again. The person on the phone was very apologetic. I'm still not sure if I'll return as a customer but it seems like they are sincerely trying to fix the communication problem."

"Omar was professional and very responsive. He diagnosed the issue quickly and provided a plan for addressing the leak and subsequent water damage. His team arrived on time and worked quickly and professionally. The fixed required fixing damage beneath existing siding and house trim. Due to its age, we didn't want the siding and trim replaced because the color would match the rest of the house. The team worked diligently to preserve the siding and trim (not easy with metal trim) and replaced the underlying water damaged material. Would definitely consider the company for future improvements or repairs."
